Nice, and nice layout of the pix.

Doesn't Davidson's do UPS? If you have the kind of shipping luck I've had lately, you might get it by New Year's...... ::)

I just had 2 different Next Days become Three Days. Today was the next day, I got neither, and they don't do Saturdays.
Last week I had a Second Day that took five.

As of an hour ago, both packages I should have gotten today are 700 miles away. How should UPS explain that?.... >:(

You will have a very Merry Christmas.
The adding of the Black Widow grips is an excellent idea.
You will have much better control.

Sip, aaaaa, Thanks for the picture.

Anvil,
Hopefully that package arrives soon. When it does, tell us how the range session goes and...............some photos so Uncle Lee can enjoy his coffee.

It is so nice to see the start of the Christmas gifts arrival.

Well actually it's shipping to Cabela's so I can go through the background checks and all the series of questions. I don't mind however.
Years ago when I bought my Pug it was at Gander Mountain. I remember the clerk asking me what I was going to do with it in a humorous manor.
I said "dumb question. I'm going to shoot it!"  ;)

Well sorry to say but the transaction fell through! It seems the seller and Cabela's could not connect. Phone connections failed as did messages.
I reckon online purchasing of firearms is suspicious in more ways in today's climate. Rather than jump through more hoops and more personal data input I decided to cancel the order for now.
I already received the oversized grips from NAA so now I need to find a mini revolver locally if possibly to go with it. ::)

Anvil,
I am so sorry to hear that. Maybe there is another LGS or FFL that can help you out.  Have them contact Lipseys in LA as I am sure they have the mini of your choice and your dealer can contact them. I have dealt with Lipseys over the years and they are super nice folks.

Or,maybe you can contact NAA and they can have your dealer contact a distributor???

Anyway,I hope that it all works out OK for you.

With my zip code, Davidson's shows 1 convertible Black Shadow in stock. I hope Santa doesn't let you down.... :(

I love my Shadow! She barks loud.

I'm hoping to find one at the next gun show so I can eliminate the shipping hassle to a big box store.
One of them I checked on required a $50 surcharge to receive a firearm from another dealer!  >:(
Years past I always patronized a couple local dealers but both had to close their doors due to the Covid epidemic.
Neither of them could recover from that.  :'(

You may not need it but should have it.

Very nice you owe it to yourself

If you have a friend or gun smith with a FFL or the range you shoot at has one you can ship to them. Search on line "gun smith near me" or "FFL near me". Some guy working out of his home might pop up. The guys from the shops that shut down might do side jobs now. https://www.ffldealernetwork.com/united-states/kansas

I would definitely try to stay away from the box stores.
Several years ago, I asked an acquaintance, who worked at the local Gander Mountain, what they charged for as transfer, and I believe it was fifty dollars.   I asked him why it was so high, compared to two local store fronts, and he replied that it was because they wanted people to buy from their stock.
I said that the problem was that they didn't carry the guns that I was looking for and buying.   He replied that they could get any gun on the market, so I asked him how many flat spring Colt's they had in stock, since at the time I was buying Troopers and Detective Specials.   He said, Uh, none, and I replied that's why I am not buying guns from you.

I have 2 mini's,  and I was on the way to buy another,  one (like the one shown), after seeing it in a LGS.(pawn shop)
and it was sold when I got there. $350.00
So..........I bought a Ruger .556 AR

Lipsey's does not carry the Shadow, as that is a Davidson's exclusive. Go to www.galleryofguns.com. Look for a local gunshop that is listed. Place a deposit on the gun you want and it will be shipped to your LGS you chose. Once it is ready, your dealer will call you. From there, do the paperwork, pay the balance and enjoy your new gun! Yes, it is that easy.

Four of my guns came through Davidson's. It doesn't get any easier, unfortunately.

a few years ago I bought a 1979 suburban in Illinois but brought they key home with me,overnighted it through the post office 5 days before my shipper was to pick it up called the guy with the truck at 830 pm the night before the truck was picked up and no key yet...I had copy's made, so me and my wife and two kids loaded up into the truck left outta here at 930 pm drove the key to the bottom of Illinois turned around and come home made it there and back in 12 hours....
Point of story don't trust "overnight" or any other timeline on package deliverys

bearcatter

I just had amazing service yesterday from FedEx Home. Two days from Orlando to mid-VA. Home seems to be the best division of FedEx, same cost as Ground, and they deliver residential on weekends no extra charge. Home has always done better for me than the other shippers, except USPS. Priority Mail is usually only a day slower, cheaper, and the packages are never beaten up.
