Thanks, I entered too! I won a raffle drawing back in 1976 but I forgot what the prize was so I think I'm due again!

I went through a period for about 25 years that I entered every contest that came in the mail or that I found in the (doctor, dentist, or barber shop.
Never won a thing.

Even when I am supposed to get something, I don't get it.
A letter came from the NRA. My membership was about up and If I renew early, they would send a neat pocket knife.
That was about 5-6 years ago. I renewed early and am still waiting for the knife.

Davidson's has a Great Gun Giveaway every month. I did it for about two years. Some of the guns were really nice ones. They're out of stock on so many now, they may have a slim choice of what they can give away.

Some times they are the same.

I had 2 heart attacks last spring. Since them they have been trying to control my blood pressure. This pill, that pill, BP up & down.
Every year about this time I come down with a really bad cold and sore throat. Last Thursday I had to go to the doctor to get my BP taken again. When I woke up I had the sore throat and that icky bad cold feeling.
Go to the doctor and my blood pressure was ok for the third month so I guess that was good.
I told the nurse to tell the doctor that it is time for the cold to hit me. I need the shot and dose pack. I get the same thing every year.
She left the room and came back with 2 long plastic q-tips and  ran them around the back of my eyeballs. Then she left. About 15 minutes later the doctor came in grinning real big. He said "Well it is good & bad. You don't have your annual cold. You have covid. But as quick as you got here, it is going to be easy,
The symptoms just started this morning so it is an easy fix."
Just a different shot and different dose pack.

I never felt bad as far as being sick. Other than a bad cold and the was gone by Friday morning.

Wife went to see the doctor this morning.
Now she has it.
This might become a pandemic.
