NAA 22 short mini vs Henry pump rifle

Very interesting. I think that the 22 short loses velocity in the longer barrel because of drag.

I have done some informal tests with my mini 22 short and found that it can penetrate 4 to 6 layers of soup can steel at contact ranges.

I have chronographed .22 Short and CCI .22 Long (not Long Rifle) from a few handguns and found that .22 Short is faster by about 100 fps.

And this wasn't no CB ammo for the .22 Long, it was full power .22 Long. I was expecting it to have more velocity since it says on the box it's 1215 fps while the .22 Short says 1095 fps, but I guess that the Shorts are loaded with a faster burning powder meant for handguns.

Isn't the Short a lighter bullet than Long? That would up the velocity.
