Can you really resell a SideWinder as new unfired?

I am not selling them but I looked at my new SideWinder and there are powder burns on every cylinder.  They ran a full cylinder through to test.   I am fine with that but is there any difference when I run a few rounds through?  Some are not firing theirs to keep it "new"?

if the factory fired the gun to test it its still new in box. if you fire rounds through it its as new.
