Am I the only one wanting to put shorts in the Sidewinder and then having the shorter ejection travel?   Think there is a shot to have them all punch out with one push of the ejector?

I wish I had the conversion chamber so I could try the long rifle and the shorts. loading a empty short shell into the magnum chambers does not result in a fast ejection, but instead they can get stuck underneath the star and require a rod and patience to get them out.

I think my sidewinder with 22lr cylinder with be a fun part of this gun.  Something I missed with the BT.

The ejection issue with the .22 mag was one of the things that kept me from ordering a Sidewinder.    Every Magnum round I have tried a little tough to get out, some worse than others.    I couldn't imagine the little ejector star would eject these empty's very well, some maybe but not all.  Jim

The .22 Mag chambers would allow "wiggle room" for the .22 Short cases, allowing them to tip under the ejector star. I would guess that won't be a problem with the .22 LR cylinder. Mine is still in the wrapper, so I haven't tried ejection with it. Regardless, as long as the revolver is held muzzle up, the shell trapping should not occur.

I used to have a Smith & Wesson Model 19 with a 2 1/2" barrel. I managed to trap cases under the ejector star several times (probably .38 Special cases). And yes, it is beyond awkward trying to get them out of there... three handed job.  :-[

Been there, done that.
Not with a 19, but with a Smith.
