I recently added the 22 Mini Short, NAA 22-S.  It makes a nice little brother to my 22 Mag.  I wanted to see if I could get some additional information about it.

It came still in it's original case from Freedom, Wyoming.  The Serial Number is 8977.  Maybe I could find out what year it was manufactured?

Thanks

Does it say North American Arms or Freedom Arms on the side?

Cylinder pin removes differently also so be careful . It turns 180* to remove with your fingers , no tools involved I say that because I had one sent to a gun shop one time and as I was walking in the door to collect it this moron had a pair of pliers in his hand all too ready to try and remove it . I yelled across the room to stop just as he opened the pliers . Needless to say this moron never got anymore business . LLC are very much not alike just bullet sellers . Freedom Arms were a great manufacturer of these mini's , they paid great attention to detail to everything about them interior and exterior . Interior flashing was superb and smoothed to accept each and every outer grip set snugly , no trimming involved . Thats one grip I have with NAA their interior cleaning needs a lot to be desired ,heck I was fiddling with one once and sliced my finger on the flashed edge . Good luck with your new acquisition  and WELCOME ABOARD  the good ships asylum .  ;) ;) ;)
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .
