.22 Shell Carrier Belt Slide

I get orders for these once in a while (3 or 4 a year)

They're a good way for some to carry extra rounds while out in the field.

Most orders are from hunters and once in a while a SASS shooter will part with some money and get one for their "costume" 

The larger calibers are much easier to make then the .22's   

The .22's would be easier if I thinned the loop leather more but I think keeping it on the thicker side always helps product longevity. Folding/gathering the leather to stitch it at the accurate length is harder because the loop is short. 

After doing one for .22's the .38's seem like a "walk in the park"! lol! Doing one for a 12 gauge is a piece of cake! lol!

I worked a Ben's Saddlery in Wickenburg when I first moved to AZ, a client ordered a gun belt with 50 .22 caliber loops on it 
That was a challenge!

This one is Chestnut Leather with Mahogany Loops. I like the color combination    Let me know your thoughts!

There's no real surprise on your leather posts. They're always great !  Brass will look even better than blue ..

Another outstanding combination of colors. Fancy !
Carrying them on the belt if far better than loose in the pocket.
In the pocket, they can get dented. Been there, done that.
