Summer is officially hit the Desert Southwest.  To hot to work in the garage/shop from 2:00 to 6:00 even with the A/C going.

So work is "split shift" mornings and evening.

We are house/dog sitting for friends in Cave Creek AZ (about 20 minutes from our house) so I take the afternoon off and go swimming (they have a pool!)  :)

This is a Cross Draw I just shipped for a Mini Master. The simple Brown Leather and Thread helps make it look kind of "classy"  ;)

Sometimes less is more!   8)  lol!

Photos to help the iced coffee cool you off  ;)

Questions, Comments, Constructive Criticism are always welcome!  Thanks for looking!

That does look classy. Is it just me, or is that even more gloss than usual?

Today in VA is 92* and about 85% humidity. The humidity is killer. Your dry heat feels better. Our Florida folks can tell you about sweating. I've done both places.

Thanks bearcatter  ;)

I think it looks glossy because of the time of day I took the photos.  I usually try to do it at sunrise or sunset so the light is filtered.

These were in the middle of the day with a large umbrella overhead for shade.

The heat is miserable but, combine the heat with humidity... that is really bad!

Another work of art.
That "shiny" look is totally beautiful.
That slick look sure helps the coffee slide down.

Looks great!

I don't miss the Monsoon season heat and humidity of the valley.   We have been out in West Texas last week helping my father in law.  He was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney failure and is 84.  On top of that we have been going out and trying to get his plumbing company ready to sell.
Well Union Pacific took that worry away... Sparks off the tracks caused a grass fire and burned the building and all contents to the ground!
Looks like I'm back working on fire claims and getting everything ready to work on a settlement with them.

Thanks Ken!

Having insurance claims experience sure helps when you have a claim.  (I know it has helped me a couple times!)

Being able to show documentation and comparable values on items saves the claim representative handling your claim the time of looking all items, vehicles and equipment up to establish proper values. (and the possibility of the wrong value they look up is always less!)

The package you provide the claim rep will save them a ton of time. They can verify a couple items for their file to show that it's not "made up" then proceed with payment!  It's a win-win! $$$
