Been carrying the LCP since I got it 2 months ago. I like it, but just had to get the BW out today. I like being used to 1 gun and carrying it all the time. Maybe I can shoot them both and swap out carrying. Kinda got attached to the BW last 2-3 years.

It's always good to do some shooting!

The Black Widow is fun to shoot.

If you ever get a chance to shoot a Mini Master do try it! They are very nice to shoot  ;)

If I get another one, I think it may be the Mini Master. If not, another BW.

Camo,
I guess you are pretty much like me and tend to gravitate towards the BW.

To me it is the best of both worlds, not too big nor too small.

Suits my needs just fine. No problem for EDC or camp or trail.

Plenty accurate at true shooting distances.

In all honesty, for camp or trail, are the distances great than 25 feet?  I doubt it.

With ther 22lr cylinder in place you can have lots of practice and then switch to the magnum cylinder for camp/trail/EDC

Camo,
Watch out Rick was so kind as to let me take his Mini Master to the range...
Yep just days later I found one of my own.  They take the Black Widow to a whole new level.  I can saw they are great on armadillo's...

I know it's basically a BW with a 4" barrel, but how is it for carrying. The BW with one of Ricks holsters is no problem, the LCP in the pocket holster that came with it hasn't been a problem. Just trying to picture carrying it compared to BW.

top dog

Rick's holsters for the Mini Master is the only way to go. Superb fit and finish and design well thought out.

I found that the pocket holster for the LCP that comes with the gun suits me just fine but for some reason I tend to always gravitate back to the BW..

I have a Mika ocket holster for it and made a cross draw rig for it ( no where near the quality if Rick's holsters) and am perfectly happy with for EDC and camp & trail also fits nicely in the inner pocket of my fly fishing vest.

To me,it is hands down the better choice for my needs.

But if you prefer to use the LCP,I will agree with you.

Quotethe LCP in the pocket holster that came with it hasn't been a problem.

The pocket holster that comes with the LCP is an accident waiting to happen. Unless one carries with an empty chamber, one can easily end up discharging the pistol while it is in one's pocket. The holster is not rigid enough to keep simple friction from pulling the trigger. Talk with Rick about a solution to this problem.  8)

The LCP is quite a nice pistol to discreetly carry once some simple upgrades have been added to it.

Looks like we all thinking along the same lines. Only reason I?m carrying the LCP .22 in pocket holster is because it came with it. Thought I?d try it. No round in chamber though. I do have 4 holsters from Rick, and they are the best. Wanted to see how I was gonna like the LCP before getting another holster. Been carrying the LCP for couple months, but still shooting the BW all along to. Been almost to hot to shoot much. Gonna be hard to replace the BW.

camo

When I get another holster for LCP, will have to decide if I want pocket holster or belt.

Armybrat

I carried my 2008 LCP in a Desantis Nemesis pocket holster until earlier this year when this LCP Max replaced it.

Nice choices there

Only you can decide what is best for your type of situation.

Each person/situations are different.

No matter what your choice,I will agree with you.

A few rounds with the BW late yesterday afternoon. Still to hot to shoot much. Range 5 yds. and rattlesnake range ( about 6-8')

top dog

Camo,
Looks nice, You are doing well.

Hope that the weather gets better for you to do more shooting.

Been carrying the LCP-.22, but broke out the B/W and shot 5 rounds. May switch and carry the B/W again for a while.

top dog

Camo,
Nice shooting there.

It seems that most folks gravitate back to the minis in one form or another.

bill_deshivs

If you are carrying the LCP without a round in the chamber, you might as well almost not be carrying a gun.

camo

I read that a lot about not carrying with a round in chamber.

camo

I had to post that picture for sure. Not many times I have 5 shots that close together no matter what I'm shooting. Yep. Something about the B/W I keep going back to. And still thinking about another one or a mini master.

Oh yeah doubles at the same time . Those are some great shots for sure myself well if I get them on the same cardboard I think I did O.K. Ha ,Ha .  My gripping always puts my shots high each and every time even if I try to correct . Mentally I'm going for a head shot it seems . Ha ,Ha  ;) ;).

I recently relegated my LCP-22 to my motorcycle jacket pocket. Why? I finally got a NAA Mini 22Lr. I've been wanting one for a long time ever since trading off one of the Colt 22short single shot pistols. The colt went with me everywhere and I always was confident that it would do its job if I needed it.

Strawdog,
The 22lr mini was my first NAA purchase many years ago.

That was the start of a number of mini purchases.

I fired that 22lr mini so much that last year the main spring broke.

I sent it to NAA and was repaired and returned quickly.

Let us hear how your new mini does on the range.

Camo, Top Dog:

For my $.02 worth, the Mini Master w/ both cylinders is the best camp/tail gun out there. Plenty ligh to enough to cover its there yet with both cylinders it can take small game and serve as d cent self defense. Really Fi make a belt slide for that is, of course, not op quality on both fit, and finish. Hard work o imagine a better set up for those chores!

Been carrying the B/W last couple weeks or so. Thought I might swap and carry the LCP .22. Wanted to shoot few times to make sure I might could hit something if I had to. Top circle is at 5 yds. And the bottom 10'  Don't pay any attention to the fine holes. That's from patterning my 410 shotgun at 20 yds.

OV-1D

Getting pretty good at that Camo . Your lucky that cardboard doesn't shoot back , Ha .  ;) ;)

Gfrayelky,
For sure the BW is a right handy camp/trail gun.

About half the weight of the lightweight snubbies.

Check out Rick's holsters at Desert Gun Leather. Top notch quality there!!!

We need to make sure Rick has a mountain of orders waiting when he's back on his dancin' legs!

Bearcatter,
I hope that Rick is up and about soon.

He makes superb rigs,2nd to none.

Last July I suffered a heart attack and partial foot amputation. Still am active and should be in the field soon.

I put the holster grip on my B/W today. Had it on before but not for long. Just thought I'd try it again. Does anyone know if any of the thing meister grips are long enough for a pinky finger?

Strawdog1

Just ordered one... they are long enough for a two or three finger grip depending on the style you order.

The grips I made are for a two finger grip. The the pinks curls just under the grip...
