Hello NAA Forum!

My name is Hunter Whitney, and I will be servicing North American Arms as the new Sales Manager going forward. I look forward to further discussions with each of you and hope to hear from the wonderful North American Arms community that has been established.

I figured I should hop on here to introduce myself and share with you exciting plans that we have that will best service you as our wonderful community.

Introduction:

Coming from Christensen Arms (The pioneer of the Carbon Fiber Barrel), I serviced International Sales as the Sales Manager for two years and was the Inside Sales manager for three years. As the Inside Sales Manager, I had the opportunity to be heavily involved in the background of servicing many Domestic dealers, National Accounts, and of course Distribution Accounts all while doing International Sales. While doing International Sales, Christensen Arms went from 14 Direct accounts globally to having representation on 6 continents (Couldn't get to Antarctica...lol) with 52 different Distributors & Dealers.

Prior to doing Sales, I started as a Polishing Technician and worked into Work Order Control, Webstore Fulfillment, and Order Entry while there at Christensen Arms. Eventually getting into Sales, I knew I found my passion. Overall, I spent almost 5 1/2 years there at Christensen Arms.

Lastly, I have a beautiful family with a 3 year old girl, 8-month old boy, and a beautiful wife who I would do anything for. (See picture attached)

Exciting Things:

We hope to meet you in person at NRA as we will have a booth there! A lot of individuals you may have interacted with in the past on this forum will be at the Show and will be able to answer any questions you may have about the product or future plans. Please come introduce yourself if you plan on attending.

North American Arms is in great hands! With our terrific Customer Service Team, Marketing Team, and Leadership heading the way, North American Arms is going to be much more accessible to each of you as you look to collect, purchase, and shoot NAA going forward. While accessibility is important, Quality in communication, service, and product are what we focus on the most. Know that we have wonderful team of Engineers, Machinists, and Assembly that test each firearm from start to finish.

Thank you for being loyal customers of North American Arms. We understand that change in personnel, structure, and process can be a hard pill to swallow at times, but bear with the team as we look to do what we have been entrusted to do in growing and maintaining a well-branded business. There are so many exciting things coming up that we can't wait to share with you. Please know that you, our community, will be amongst the first to know!

Welcome aboard, Hunter!

I live directly west of you across the lake and I occasionally make it into the factory for purchases and to meet the great people of NAA. Hope to see you soon.

Uncle_Lee

Welcome Hunter,
I would give you a list of the rules like I try to do to new members.
But it looks like the rules have changed.
So I won't give out any rules until I learn them. Of course then it might not be my place to tell anyone anything.
So, I give you my heart felt WELCOME TO THE FORUM.
Uncle_Lee

I am going to miss it.
I just got a lump in my throat.
I had that same lump when granny died.
To some of us, this forum is one of the main parts of their life.
It is like taking the wheelchairs away from a nursing home.

Another big welcome here, Hunter
You sure do have a lovely family there, I?m sure you will do very well for NAA future.
It would be nice to be kept informed on upcoming products and other general information from NAA.
Jumping on the forum and just saying hi would be nice to.
Again, welcome.

top dog

Hunter,

Welcome Hunter, one of the Old things I miss most is Sandy's Soapbox. He would post a few lines each month telling how things were going, what to look forward too, stuff like that. I hope someone will do something like that again. :)

after reading what changes your making to the forum I now see no need to buy any more mini's or to refer anyone to this site. and will probably delete my member ship here if these thing happen

heyjoe

Hunter I am going to tell it to you straight. You are getting off on the wrong foot. No early bird specials for loyal customers of many decades, who have helped to sell untold number of NAA's over that time with their enthusiasm and spreading the world. And then to add insult to injury, making the NAA forum a cold sterile place again for your long time many decades customers who again helped NAA sell many firearms and provided input and ideas on future endeavors. You are a young guy, you may not fully realize what those changes mean to many. Think about it.
It's too bad that our friends cant be here with us today

Well between Unc_Lee and HeyJoe and others of course we have said it all . The forum as it is can be related to many , many indirect sales of recommended weapons and accessories . As BigBird pointed out after Sandy's departure from the forum the rest of us could see the drop in participation of members and now the forum . I'm afraid my friend surviving in today's marketplace takes hooks/gaffs to keep its existing control especially in such a knitch market item such as mini guns , the price alone really dictates keeping each and every advantage one can conceive of .  Anyhow WELCOME TO OUR ASYLEM while it still lasts , good day .   :( :o ::) :'( :'( :'( :'(
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

Uncle_Lee

Heck, I even got put in Facebook jail for trying to get people to buy the NAA Pug.
I probably will again.

I think the Pug is what everyone should carry. So you carry a What's-o-might 55 caliber, with a laser and a flashlight, and red dot sight , add a Pug for a little more safety and very little space taken and very little weight added.

I can't quit even when I get hit with a sack of ****.

Unc those emoji's are messed up it shows some of them others look like a corner folded piece of paper . No problem Unc thanks .

Heres one for our new guy Hunter Whitney . Hunter before anything major happens I still need a longest barreled break top with both cylinders . I can't find any on any gun site at least in that configuration with the extra long rifle cylinder . Need it bad for the collection and as always short of funds . Finding one is like finding hens teeth , unavailable is all my responses . Thanks for your efforts to take command and hope you get thru the storm which might be around the corner . Good day my friend .

Nothing changed, post have been deleted, Religion and Politics is gone , infringing on freedom of speech. What next no more talking about other gun's not NAA . Like he mention before its just gonna be NAA .

Heck if I was in charge I'd go the other way and expand into more social media platforms . There are little kids making thousands on these web sites why not NAA . Money is money I figure . Its down right silly to close down a system when so many others are making that kind of dough . Just imagine NAA being as big as Facebook so to say . Need to start thinking outside the box these days to keep the doors open . Just my humble opinion . It's time to have NAA break into the big time nation wide heck world wide again just imagine , we need a social site thats includes everyone not just NAA weapons but then again the extra business from all over wouldn't hurt . Government grants are just begging to be used . The  question is how big do you want to go , get the ball and run like heii . :o :o :o :o :o :o                                                                             P.S. Hunter for my idea I'll take a couple of thousand shares thank you very much .

You guys are pretty pathetic. You sound like a bunch of five year olds.

NAA has new management. Management has the right to make any changes they feel are necessary.

There is no "freedom of speech" on privately owned forums.

There are ways to make your wishes known and to make requests without sounding like a bunch of pitiful crybabies, and threatening to "never buy another."

Grow up and let the new folks run their business. Make suggestions and requests. Threats and bitching will probably get you nowhere.

Bill's a follower not a leader. Let them do what they want its ok with him, but not the majority here.

thinking about it your post is actually pretty ironic considering that you are the only poster on this site that has consistently over the years gone out of his way  to dissuade people who are talking about buying an NAA firearm to buy a keltec p32 instead. i am pretty sure that the new management will not be too happy with that behavior.

Nice folks here, as management can see.

Yes, I have suggested many times that the Keltec P32 is a better defense gun than any NAA product. That doesn't mean that I dislike the NAA gear.
Here is a new pair of grips I just made for a customer. Can your cat do that?

If I thought you had a clue what good engraving was, I might be offended.

This kind of teenage sniping behavior stuff ( like the last couple of posts here) is part of what brought on these onerous changes to this forum.

Beautiful work on those Bill. They look like they are 3 feet deep in the center.

I know a little about polishing from my time in the auto body industry. When a surface is polished to perfection it fools your eyes to not see the surface, your eyes try to see past the actual surface. (so it's been explained to me)  ;)

Thanks for posting them  8)

Gorgeous grips! Very nice work. Do you sell these?

Kublah

Nice grips Bill.

I'm supremely disappointed how this introduction to Hunter went so sideways. The forum members specifically requested an introduction to some of the new faces, then this happens.

bill_deshivs

Thanks, Rick.
Pocket Magnum- I do, but not on this thread.

Hunter, Congrats on the new position.  Best of Luck and I wish NAA the greatest of success.  I have bought many NAA's through the years and I'm sure there are a few more in my future.
