 Life seems to have changed this past week . Everybody is given up , WHY ? I just hope when NAA sees sales start to drop off , 'm not wishing that ,but if they do they will see we made a big difference with our connections . because people dont like to go where they are not wanted. i knew it was over when that grip maker who posts once in a blue moon wrote that nasty post about the members who posted here and i was the only one to take him to task. there were a few other posts who actually  kissed his where the sun dont shine. pathetic

I think our biggest mistake was to  think that we were something special to the North American Arms company.
Well, you see now that we were/are not at all different than the homeless person out there on the street living in a tent.
Someone one was unhappy with a loosely monitored, loosely controlled forum. Instead of finding one that was controlled, That person whined and piss and moaned until the control was started on this one.
They took away freedoms and the effect was to kill the forum.
Freedom from tight controls is what made NAA forum the forum.
Freedom loving Americans hate tight controls being put on them after tasting Freedom. That is why most of us don't like the way the government is being run at the present time.
I will check in now and then to watch it die.

Well did a test .................. wanted to see if the "Powers that be" were serious about their wokeness policies. Posted a post in Stories related to this coming election and possible violence if Trump wins etc. The NAA Wokesters evidently are monitoring things and are sticking to their guns. They took it down or did not post it. Looking pretty dim for the future of this once great forum. Evidently cannot discuss politics.

If they have truly gone woke, they won't be in the gun business very much longer. I didn't post that much, but I did enjoy the conversations. The way things are going, I won't buy anymore NAAs. I may sell off the ones I do have. Don't have anyone to leave them to anyway. I hope NAA sees what they're doing and change course.

They got what they wanted. Now they can just close it down. They have a facebook page. Very short sighted business model in my opinion, no continuity of discussions there on technical issues, which contribute to fewer returns or experiences with the firearms that lead to sales.

Well, guys, it seems to me that a gun company hosting a discussion board is a very rare thing indeed. I've been here for 25 years (dang, really?) and it's been a pretty good run.

Most branded gun forums I visit are run by third parties, like Taurus Armed, The Kel-Tec Owners Group, The Ruger Forum, The Beretta Forum, and of course Glock Talk, and many others. I mean, there are reasons why we hung out here on the NAA board instead of others (or in addition to other). We chose to be here. But maybe those reasons have changed....

Perhaps it's time somebody took over the reins and created a third-party NAA forum. It is a lot of work, with moderating, maintenance, personal and financial costs, and protecting against hackers and spammers, but it can be done. Anybody up for it?

Put up or shut up, I guess....

Just a quick post, I'm not 100% gone, yet. I'm still taking two minute peeks once in a while.

For me, it's not just the forum being largely ruined. I wonder if the new attitude will creep into NAA quality?

I'm very glad my Guardians, parts, etc, were made while Sandy, Matt Lewis (chief engineer) and Jessica were here.

  Al I just broke out my flip phone after a ten-twelve non use of it . I still stand on the notion if anyone can't reach me on my wall phone it just wasn't important to begin with , honestly . The only reason I got one was for the work truck incase I broke down or medical emergency GOD forbid . Otherwise it was more of a draw back than an asset . It was uncanny how when you needed it for something important its charge was almost gone . The wife bought me a new one that lasted maybe three months before I tossed it to the fishes in a lagoon to talk to seeing advertisement calls found out my number . That was such a relief of my soul to see it hit the waves . Never again ........... Funny I found that ATT wall phone at ACE hardware ,it was from some very , very old stock they had for years and not selling ,it was waiting for me evidently to come along .

We got our first cell phone about 6 months ago, it is a flip phone.
We don't use it, it is in the glove compartment of the car. We got it because we make so many trips to the doctor and may have trouble on the road.

Just remember to charge it every few weeks. They don't hold a charge forever.

  Nothing more worse than a cell phone with dead batteries . Really Unc you folks need to pay more attention to these things if you really need to use it someday . Always be checking your battery life , its just the world we live in . Battery anything is a big joke on humanity , now battery cars that have chances of blowing up underneath us or in the driveway ,isn't that just grand . Caution if your battery gets hot at anytime "BEWARE" .

We have been planning on getting a new Toyota but both of are so bad off that we don't seem to make it to the dealer. The nearest dealer is over 40 miles away.
I guess, if the phone burns up the car, that would force us to find a way to the dealer.
