Black Leather Pancake Holster for a 3-inch Earl.

The percentage of orders for the Earl is pretty small compared to other NAA Models. I like the look of the 3" Earl myself  :)

I carry mine once in a while so I'm guilty of neglecting mine as well! I should put it into a solid "summer carry rotation"  ;)

This is a Black Leather with Black Thread order (The Standard "Smokeless Joe") color combination! lol!!

Uncle_Lee can pour another cup for this one!  :)

Deplorable before deplorable was cool.

Thats a gorgeous holster that goes real well with that gorgeous gun . That mini is another one of my favorite styles  .
talking holsters Rick I seen on the net somewhere those open topped holsters had a slip in snap catch inside the holster to keep the gun from falling out upside down position . You have that ability to add on your works of art ?
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

Thank you OV!

I don't install any "gadgets" to compensate for poor leather work. My Holsters are fit and molded to the specific gun for excellent "passive" friction retention.

If you ride a motorcycle or off-road vehicle or crawl under homes for a living... I recommend a Thumb Break in addition to excellent leather molding for the specific gun for level 2 retention. JMHO

That thumb brake is all I would use also . When a prep hears that snap they are already on the run almost hearing the trigger snap back , they go together quite well . Then theres that red beam that usual comes after . Ha .
Hey I realize your time is of the essence so I just might send you a premade set of those things I tried to give you . Just a little sanding (grinding , depends what you want them to be) to shape and make them something you might like in the end like for a boot , surely you have time for that .. Later Boss .

Beautiful as usual Rick. My only complaint would be that the 3" Earl is too large to carry. If we were going to carry a 3" Mini we may as well carry a lightweight .38 or a .45 Colt snubby.  ::)

The little red beam makes a man rethink their decisions! lol!

Having the "fitting" part of those pre-finished makes the project more appealing! lol! I'm not lazy, I just don't have time to learn everything! lol!

The 3" Earl is my favorite plinking Mini. It just seems like it was intended for me to shoot it. I also have one of Rick's pancake holsters, and love it! Mine is also black, but has gray thread. Just enough to accent, but not enough to make a huge contrast.

That holster is a beauty, Rick. I agree with Gray that the 3" Earl is a great plinking Mini.

The Dark Gray thread looks great on the Black Leather!
