Traded CZ-82 for CZ P-07

Today I traded a CZ-82 in 9x18 for a CZ P-07 in 9x19. I like the old-fashioned all steel, but the new polymer CZ is nice, too.

I had the Makarov listed in the local gun classifieds and the owner of the P-07 suggested the trade. I was hesitant at first, but now I'm pretty happy with the deal. This is my first modern CZ model. I like it. It's like my Beretta Cougars, in that the first trigger pull is double action and subsequent pulls are single action.

He's a lefty, so I might have to swap the magazine release back to right hand, but I don't mind it so much as it is.

Darvell I'm waiting for the first Elon Musk space pistol that shoots paralyzing rays or incinerates the perk and works off of triple A batteries . Ha ,Ha ,Ha .

Looks like a great trade to me! I?ve had two CZ82s (I got the second one cause I thought something must be wrong with the first one

). I just do not like those pistols. And I love steel frame fixed barrel pistols.

Yeah, I had a couple of CZ-82's myself and I sold (or traded off) both of them. I have a couple of Polish P64's that I seem to like better. But I'm thinking of just getting rid of all of my 9x18's.

I also have an older CZ-52 that's pretty cool. I like the 7.62x25 round much better, plus I have a PPS-43 that shoots the same round, plus a couple of Zastava M57's.

I do love the P64. I have a couple that get carried frequently.

Before Covid hit, I scored a good deal on 1000 rnds of Silver Bear JHP on Gunbroker. I actually got it so cheap FMj would have been more expensive?. So I use it as both range ammo and carry ammo

That stuff in the mag in the pic obviously isn?t Silver Bear. I think that?s some Hornady loads I had laying around.
