I try to look at the bright side of life.
My problem is that I never saw "age" in my life until after I hit 80. Then I realized that all my family had died at around the age of 70 and that I am on borrowed time. Now time is flying on by. Each month seems like a week. My wife is going nuts trying to juggle 5 doctors at one time.
I went into the hospital on the 5th and was there until the 13th. The found a 4 1/2" Blood clot in my left calf. They poured me full of stuff to try to reduce the clot. It was a big, hard blackish knot about the size of a chicken egg laying on my leg. It is about half that size now.
I also turned up with a heart that skips a beat now and then, other times it goes crazy and beats real fast (one time on the heart monitor, at night while asleep, it went to 199 beats.) Also high blood pressure. The brain scan showed up no problems. I have scaring of the lungs and starting of "popcorn lungs". really!!! Look it up.
Can't look at the screen very long ------ turned up with bad double vision.

Yeah time just does fly by, now, unbelievably so. You certainly have your hands full medically. Did they talk to you about a pacemaker/defibrillator? As with all things in life, and maybe the reason we are still here when most of our family and friends arent anymore is that we just keep putting  one foot in front of another no matter what is going on. I wish you a speedy recovery and the best in general.
It's too bad that our friends cant be here with us today

Ya, I keep trotting along.
I found the cable for my camera so I downloaded the pictures, for proof (ha, ha)

I know sometimes it's easier said than done, but hang in there uncle Lee, try to think positive. Hope you continue to feel better.

Unc it looks like a clear case of poor circulation . Better see a heart doctor also , just an opinion . Dietitian might help also to help with that swelling and bruising , can't just sit there my friend .  ???  ???

Thanks Folks,
I have had every part of my body scanned in the past 2 weeks.
Cindy spent most of the day yesterday making appointments with all the doctors. I am going to be seeing ever kind of an MD except a butt doctor.
Thanks

Don't want to worry you but clots are bad news . I never did read your first post I missed it somehow . Keep an eye on having any pains in the chest if so call 911 . Those pieces of clot can end up in heart or lungs both are critical areas  that take us out . Again just be weary of how you feel at any given time ...... be looking . You can't go anywhere till I pass your posting count . :)  :)  :)  :)  :)  :)  :)  :)  :)  :)  :)  :) Ha .

OV is right with his advice and I am sure you know that by now also. If it is ok with you i will ask the fire department chaplains to keep you in their prayers for a good and quick outcome for you
