I found a pic online of the .22 short and it had the eagle logo etched onto the side.

What happened to that? It looks purdy darn cool to me!
You may not need it but should have it.

The engraving looks a little different now for a number of reasons. First and foremost, to comply with the requirement to have the place where it is made on it. Now they all say Provo, Utah on the side.

Also just wondering if there is some particular reason the eagle logo has a white beak instead of yellow, silly question I know.

I was not around when the logo was made, but I would imagine it is for simplicity's sake, lol.
