Hello all,

I'm new here. I've recently given home to an NAA Companion 22 muzzle loading revolver.

They're not common at all here, so I was looking online to find information on them, and stumbled across this forum.

Looking forward to getting to know you all!

:)

TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

Order the bullets from NAA. Link latter.  They work best. .22 airgun pellets will work but can fit loose. Soft #4 buck will work. Priming flask (pic 1) drops abt 4gr 4f black just right for magnum. . (pic 2) full kit. (pic 3) Mag Supper Companion and LR mini. Hawks were Christmas for my grand sons 9 and 10. Do you shoot black?

Welcome our fine Scottish friend. Great to have someone here from overseas. We now have someone we can ask about overseas gun use and laws.

Yes, I shoot real BP. I also use Pyrodex P and 777, depending on the firearm. So far, I've only used Swiss BP in my Companion, but intend to play with more once I stock up on bullets. Ordering them from the USA is a slow process, involving export and import licences, unfortunately!

I also have a couple of smokeless powder muzzle loading revolvers, which are a peculiarity found only in the UK/Scotland as a work around to our ridiculous handgun 'ban' in 1997. I have one based on an Armscor M200 and one based on an Alfa Proj 357. You can't stop the signal! Hehe
