Newly Designed Leather Speed Loader Carrier

Everyone has their favorite way of Carrying Speed Loaders (ok, maybe only a few people even think about it!

)

A friend who also builds Holsters (Large Revolvers are his specialty) did this design for large revolvers I asked if he would care if I did a "redesign" and made it small enough for the DS 10 Speed Speed Loaders. He had no trouble with me doing it.

After a couple of ~~failures~~ tests

I have a working pattern and have made a few to send out for testing by ~~highly qualified~~ users

(they will do anything for free gear!) lol!

They all said it was a winner!

The loop on back will work with 1 1/2" and 1 3/4" wide belts

I'm having the cutting dies made and they will be available in the middle of September.

I don't use a speed loader but I love the looks of that one.
It is still leather.

How about double stacks Rick . Singles seem so lonely and space delinquency for all that work involved . Just an opinion Rick .

That is an option I would need to do more R&D on to see if I can still make it "buildable" and function correctly. Maybe... At a later date, I'll take that up.

Thanks for the opinion! Knowing what others are looking for helps the "process"

Not too sure what we are speaking of when we say "Double Stack." But if we simply mean a pair of carriers attached together so one can carry two speed loaders, then we would agree. Revolvers are so ammo limited, having two extra speed loaders, as well as maybe a speed strip, would give one a decent amount of ammo with which to fight with.

The speed loaders that Rick has for the picture fit inside each other in order to stack in one carrier .

that is how i carried in my jacket pocket,the loaded moon clips for my smith and wesson model 940 revolver. inside each other. bullets to bullets

Say Rick didn't you make a speed loader that had a cut out on the flip for the nipple of the speed loader to go thru .Thats what I was thinking when I replied to the post . I saw one somewhere I thought it was here. Sorry if I was mistaken but I know your abilities to do that anyhow .

That was the original prototype. After doing that I feel that full cover over the speed loader "push pin" would be better/safer.

If that was pushed down (lowering your arm or hand on it) it may release the rounds.

I think it's a "cleaner" look too! (it's all about how you look!) lol!
