To be honest Unc_Lee I'd  sell all my weaponry if the right person with the right cash came along . Theres only a few I'd keep for defense anyhow . Can't get any of my four children (except my son who to me is useless) or any of my eight grand children involved in the sport or collection so I've decided to start unloading them all at once preferably . Oh well its been a great lifes ride .

I stopped buying new firearms in 2018 for this reason, after a cancer scare they told me i had a 90% chance of and the drop in quality control with just about all gun manufacturers also played into it.

The only NAA I want now is that longest barreled Top Break (both cylinders) and another original "Ranger" for wearing on my left side . I'm sorry I sold my others but times were kinds tough back then .

Four years I had 3 one hundred bills and 1 twenty in my wallet. Today I have the same bills there. I have been no where to spend them.

I have to rid us of the load of toys before I die. It would leave a big burden on the wife. She would have no way to get rid of them. I have tried to get them gone but not as bad as I am now. I am not in real good shape now so the urgency is greater.  The doctors won't say it directly but I can feel it.

3 dealers within 30 miles of me and none will take them on consignment.

Stop Unc_Lee you are going to hold out for some time . I myself feel the same way with the wife and my collections  of sixty years of the greatest ,in my eyes anyhow , of adult toys ever conceived I figure .All I'm doing now is putting a sticker with a decent price of what it should go for . I know its going to be a shore for her but if she follows any instructions I leave behind she should be a somewhat wealthy lady .
 I'm going to say you've been a good pal on here wish we were closer and you saying what you did brings a tear to my eyes so stop that thinking . Prayer has been a great motivator for me these last of golden years to come , so put it out of your mind Lee everything will be just fine you old biker you .Besides Unc I have to catch you first with the amount of posts .

He told me that it is not as serious as I though.

I guess that I am still above ground.
But, right now, feels like not much more.
Spent the last 8 days in the hospital after going to the Emergency Room with a swelling foot. I went in the 5th.
I "enjoyed" the pleasure of having seems like every test available there. From foot CT all the way up to brain scan. all that and I came out with both swelling all most to the max.
Tell more later.

Like I've said before OV, every day above ground is a good day. The older we get we either have our own health  issues or lose friends and family. I just hit 67 I know some may say that's young but many of my friends or family have died younger.I always try to make the best of my time and cherish each new day.

Heck I've lost friends and have a multitude of health problems wheres that leave me ?  I'm going on 73 but still I see a 40 year old in the mirror but feeling like a 90 something year old when it comes to aches and pains and conditions . I depend on Divine Intervention to keep me above ground level , everyday is a push . The older we all get the closer to GOD we become . Honestly looking forward to the trip , kinda. Some of us stick around just to see whats next because for one I'm somewhat nosey if all this is the end of humanities story . If it wasn't for the news networks life would be pretty boring . I'm just glad the hurricanes are leaving us far alone which is again Divine Intervention as I see it . Yet there are storms to the east of us storms to the west of us ,north and south of us but nothing but a few showers and lots of HEAT (A/C is a virtue). Kinda feel special over the past years .

OV-ID, my dear mom will turn 102 years of age in a few days and is still sharp as a whip. She emails me every day and says she can't wait to see what the Lord has plans for her in the next life!
I'm 73 too and wake up each morning wonering what aliments will arise today.
I have no regrets though, my diet is what ever what I want to eat and to enjoy.
My older sister lives by a strict healthy diet.
We'll see who lives longer and who enjoyed the journey of life more.
My bet is bacon trumps apples. LOL

I'm with you Anvil we live the same path it seems . Eat whatever I want just don't do in excess , smoke ,don't drink though I eat healthy enough to get by I believe . Heck I just retired in January from working the condos on the beach sliding glass doors , windows ,screens all rebuilt sometimes new all by myself for thirty plus years . Sweat like a over run horse in the sun mostly so it was as if I was going to the spa for a workout . Have more aliments than parts but I'm happy . Do miss working , I'd get a part time job if it paid ,NOT . I feel slighted not getting paid what I use to make working for myself . Use to be called "Able Handyman" as a business did every type of work within reason (not Licensed for some things) did them anyways . plumbing ,woodwork ,electrical anything that mused me at the time ,ha . Miss it deeply but the body says heII no .
  Bless your Mom though , woman always have lived longer something about being a Mom I'm told .
