Three Cross-Draw Holster orders finished this week.

Two 4 inch Ranger Holsters and one 4 inch Earl

Well, I wish you had one too!

A good western saddle tree is $600 to $700 now. 3 sides of saddle skirting is $650.00. 1 hide of shearling for lining the skirts is $200, and Brass rigging plates and hardware are $150.00. I helped a friend build his saddle this summer, he had almost $2000.00 in materials.

Buying materials for one saddle is as much as a finished saddle! lol!
 
It's been a few years since I've built saddles. I still have two of my own that I built. After having horses for most of my life, I haven't had any to call my own (paying the vet bills, feeding, cleaning, grooming, etc.) in about five years.

I sold my 4-horse gooseneck trailer and dually crew cab truck after selling my last horse. A bunch of my friends have horses, I can make a phone call and go ride any time. Everyone has a horse that needs to be ridden! lol!

I do have good friends  :) 

Years ago, I stepped back from people I thought were "good friends" and focused on the ones who put as much effort/time into a friendship as I did. I focused on quality over quantity of friends, and life is much easier without drama.

It is amazing how people "fall off" when you quit doing things for them. They find another person to take from without putting any effort into being a "good" friend and helping/doing anything for another person.

My wife calls it "The Entitlement Attitude" They think they deserve everything without putting in the work.

I have known quite a few of those in my life time.
Quit buying beer and keeping it the fridge and see how many "friends" quit coming over every evening.

did you ever find a friend who has a smith and wesson I frame that you can borrow to make a holster yet? i still would love to have a few of your holsters for my I frames.

I have only seen one "I" frame S&W at a gun show years ago. If I could get my hands on one, I would have it 3D scanned and have a dummy gun 3D printed.

If you have one you would send I will cover the FFL receiving and shipping back to you (on my end) and build you a Holster N/C.
