I was surprised by the Black Widow Hunter Camo Grips

I never cared for the "camo" grips that came on the "Hunter" model.

After removing the original grips, I noticed that they were wood, not rubber, and it appears the camo pattern is spray painted on the wood. Maybe there is another process to do the camo I'm not aware of.

Check out the inside edge on the original grips.

It would be interesting to know how it was done 

BTW...
I have a few pairs of CV Revision G-10 grips. I think looks better on the "Hunter" Black Widow. And, they are more comfortable for me

I bought a camo knife once. I dropped it and it's still out there!

I remember reading years ago that there are two things that a hunter should never have in a camo pattern, a survival lighter/fire source, and your knife, especially in a survival situation.   Safety orange is called that for a reason.
