Most everyone in this life has someone in familly that has occured cancer. It may be personal or distant with friends and relatives but it's here and undevoidable.
I was diagnosed with cancer in 2020 with 15 out of 18 biopsies so opted for surgery.
Since then evey test has been negative. Thank you Lord!
My best friend's son lost his life at age 25 so you never know when this diease will strike!
you may not need it but you should have it

I lost my daughter to cancer 9 years ago.

Glad to hear that you have a clean bill of health!!!

I looked up     Asparagus, cure for cancer.

So sorry for you loss TD! There's nothing worse in this world than losing your child.  :'(
On the bright side. St. Jude has made phenominal advancements in child cancer!
We find it the most worthy of all our personal donations.  ;D
BTW, the wife and I love asparagus.  ;)

Anvil,
Good to hear that you and your wife are doing well.

My daughter was not the little girl, she would have turned 66 last Sept.

But young or old,it is still very bad to lose a child. I still feel the loss.

I have a feeling that they alresady know the cure for cancer but are getting sso much money for research, they are just sitting back and collecting the funds.

But that is my opinion and I could be wrong.

Good to hear you are cancer free, Anvil.

We lost my DIL to breast cancer in 2013 on the morning of her 39th birthday — leaving my middle son to raise (successfully) their two little boys as a single dad.
Then in 2022 my oldest grandson (by our oldest son) died from a cerebral hemorrhage at age 31.

Life can be very trying sometimes.

Armybrat,
I am so sorry to hear of your terrible losses.

I know that this is no consolation, but the Good Lord has a plan.

Just keep on doing the good works that you do and things will work out for the best.
