Some don't consider these things "guns" as such, but I would put this one up against most 22 rifles out to 50 yards any day.

It is a Daystate Red Wolf.  The gun is a 177 air rifle that is electronically controlled.  It has 3 power levels and holds 3700 pounds per square inch of air in that bottle.  The air is released precisely by the battery operated on board electronics.  The trigger is multi-adjustable and it too is controlled by the electronics.

Five to seven years ago, this gun was state of the art.  Now there are others that have a much wider array of adjustments.  Just like in powder rifles, the rifle can be sensitive to the pellet used and the newer guns have the ability to adjust for a variety of pellets.  They can now even change calibers from 177 up to 30 caliber.

This group of 5 shots were taken at 40 yards.

They really do make some outrageous pellets guns nowadays but they cost a pretty penny . ;)  ;) .
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

Peeshooter,
I have a Air Force Condor PCP 22 that is very accurate. From a rest at 50 yards, dime sized group all day.

I may plan a trip to Orlando to do some Iguana hunting with it. Whe I have the Donny FL suppressor on it,it is whisper quiet.

Armybrat,
That brings back many fine memories.

Last year I went and bought an adult sized Daisy Red Ryder.

Yeah.........it brought back the little kid in me.

Something satisfying about shooting a tin can with a Red Ryder.

Kind of like the same relaxing feel you have when sitting around the campfire or fishing hole.

My youngest grandson with the Red Ryder I gifted him a few years ago....

Armybrat,
I can almost guarantee that everyone on this forum pretty much started out with a Daisy red Ryder.

And.....................just before Christmas,I have to watch   A Christmas Story.

Nothing more satisfying than plinking at a tin can swinging on a string.

Nice to see that you are starting out your grandson just right.
