Rimfire beyond the NAA

I'm an old rimfire guy and a single action enthusiast so this carbine caught my attention.
It's a Heritage Rough Rider Carbine in 22lr.  
It should be fun to shoot!

That looks super nice!!

Heritage Firearms have a super good customer service.

A friend of mine had one of their early revolvers that went out of time and was spitting lead. He sent it to them for repairs and got it back in record time,fixed for free.

I am going to have to look that one up. I may just "need" one!!!

I just checked on to the Heritage website and saw that the Rancher went for about $359. which is a pretty good price.

Heritage is a Taurus company.  I also saw that my local Bass Pro shop has them in stock.

Thats a great price for such a novel piece of wood and steel . I'd have one if I had any room in the safe . NOW thats a design for those 45/70's . :)  :)

My safe is full too OV but there is lots of room up the rafters above the suspended ceiling in the basement!

I don't care much for the gold cylinder but I located the first one I posted 15 miles away for just $289 so it's really tempting.  :-\

Sounds like you did good negotiations with the wife to get the good gadget.

Let us know how it does on the range.

Be sure to wear shooting glasses as I heard that there may be some debris coming back from the cylinder gap.

My situation now is I have 5 rifles in 22lr to take to the range. I reckon I should pack a lunch next time out.
As for the handguns, I have 6 NAA's, 2 Ruger single actions and 1 S&W kit gun. It will be lunch and supper if it will fit in my lunch pail.  :o

They are a blast to shoot. But keep your hand back from cylinder. Saw on youtube that someone converted one of the barkeep 6 shot revolvers to a 9 shot by swapping cylinder hammer and the hand. I tried to get parts. they don't sell them for 9 shot. So bought 9 shot revolver and swapped them out. Works great Now its a 9 shooter haha.
