I got a NAA-22M-HG today as a winner in a drawing.  I have another pistol that has both cylinders for 22lr and 22 mag.  Is the NAA-22M-HG compatible with a 22lr cylinder?

I'm not sure about this senerio but I tried switching some grips from my NAA mag to lr and they didn't fit.  :o
you may not need it but you should have it

Spotlighter,
First welcome to the forum.

I think that question best be asked by the folks at NAA.

OK....so now you have two NAA good gadgets................when are you getting another??

Don't worry the folks here on this forum will "help" you.

OLD and GRUMPY

Cylinder from a LR frame will not fit a mag frame. But most mag frames will take a conversion LR cylinder.Call NAA. They can help you. Then let us know how it goes.

You're toast now my friend once you get the NAA bug you're hooked. My NAA mini 22lr helped convinced me to buy a Guardian 32acp. NAA offers so many choices but I'm really liking the Pug 22 mag with the long rifle conversion cylinder. That's next.

Dinooch,

OHNO!  You're hooked??   Me too.

I also have a 32 Guardian and just before I retired ,I sent it to NAA for a "spa" treatment. Stippling, gutter sight and a bit of a "melt".

Yes I'm hooked. My current Guardian is a replacement from NAA. My original one had an "issue you couldn't resolve with a tissue."  ;D  They were great about the whole situation and replaced it. They actually had to build one for me so it took a bit of well worth waiting for time. When you have lifetime service like that it's no doubt why I swallowed the hook.

dinooch,
Yeah,no doubt about it,NAA customer service is superb.

There are lighter 32s out there but the Guardian has a solid comfortable feel to it.

Some folks laugh at the 32 for SD but for many years in Europe,it was the primary police caliber.

I,for one, would not want to stop it (or a 22 short for that matter)

I love my Guardian and I carry  it more than my P32 (which I also like). The P32 is FMJ only for me and although my Guardian eats JHP for breakfast I stick with Fiocchi 73gr FMJ. Very snappy in the Guardian but the gun cycles beautifully. Whenever I go to the range and shoot the Guardian I always wrap a band-aid around the trigger finger to lessen the trigger slap. I think 5 quick with the FMJ should be enough to at least get away from trouble. (one can only hope)

Ahhhhh ............... the Guardian after a trip to NAA's Custom Shop is always quite nice. We did similar with our Guardian .380 and it makes it an entirely different gun.
