It seems the Sidewinder participation was around 200?   As remember that is greater than the Ranger which seemed to me to be 125-150?  They started with # 60 and I don't remember numbers over 200 being posted?   Only been around for those two.  What was the participation in other EB?

I think, generally, Early Bird participation inceases with each one. The first one, the Guardian .380, was probably the smallest one, but I don't have numbers for that one or any other one. (BTW, I was #1 on the list, but got a mid-teens number. They didn't have EB numbers back then, just the standard run, and the only units that went out before mine were sent out for reviews.

I'm guessing the experience with the Ranger probably really boosted the EB program for the Sidewinger, mostly from people who regretting not getting a Ranger.

Seems the Early Bird program is an "insider" deal. Only offered to members of this forum, and as far as I know not officially publicized elsewhere. I only found out about the Ranger toward the end of the production run. Got mine on Gunbroker at a premium from a dealer that was buying in quantity form the distributors... specialized in consecutive pairs. Very glad I got mine rather than wait for later production.
