If the sales are adaquate for NAA starts producing the Break Top, and they add a convertable to the line, then I will move out of California so I can buy one.

You could get a job in law enforcement & then you can buy almost any handgun. You can also buy one from a private party who legally has one.

That means that if you have a friend who is a cop they could buy one & then sell it to you.

   Of course that never happens.

Agreed.  At the $399 price point I would buy a convertable or a .22LR but not a 22 Mag.

Thanks for the ideas Theysay.  I retired from LE after 34 years, and now I'm too old to go back.  My few friend that remain can't buy it for me since the .22 isn't authorized and you need an authorization letter from your agency, Also, the break top is so new, I doubt I could find any pre owned ones.  I guess I'll wait to see if NAA offers a break top with both cylinders, then I'll make a decision.

Why wait? Move now and avoid the rush....

If we're talking new .22LR NAA's, I'm still waiting for my Guardian .22. I'd buy one in a heartbeat!

Dar I would buy one of those to!!  I to will move out of Cali if they make either of those guns!

Why not just make it a .22 mag? If it actually functioned, NAA would have to add another shift, maybe 2. I would buy 2 with sequential serial numbers for my wife and me. Maybe add 2 more for the boys.

I would also LOVE a .22Magnum NAA Guardian, but .22 mag autos seem problematic--and it seems it would be especially so for a small-sized auto.

I have an AMT Automag II in .22Magnum and I think that will suffice. I'm probably more interested in the .22LR Guardian for now.

Uncle_Lee

I am looking for a .25 acp Guardian.

(at a price that I think I can afford)

What about a 25 NAA Guardian?

I have a 25 NAA.

Did NAA make a 25 acp Guardian? If they didn't, then I can quit looking for one.

To my knowledge, you can quit looking. I believe they have only been made in 4 calibers: .32 ACP; .25 NAA; .32 NAA and .380 ACP.

OK, Thanks, I will quit looking.

I guess my collection is almost complete.
