I was in Provo, Utah on Friday morning and I took my new magnum Black Widow in for a conversion cylinder.  I got two fluted 22lr cylinders and a new rosewood grip.  The whole process took just 30 minutes!  Everyone was very nice and helpful from the receptionist to the technicians.  A great customer service experience (and the walk-in pricing was superb!)

Excellent! I've been to the factory numerous times and I'm never disappointed. NAA is only about 10 miles or so from my house, but straight across Utah Lake. It ends up being maybe 30 to 40 minutes to get there driving around. I guess I need a boat. :)

Yeah, just to clarify, my new BW is a 22 magnum so I got two fluted 22 lr cylinders (2 for ease of reloading) and a new set of grips.  :)

So do you need an appointment to get work done or buy accessories or can anyone just drop by anytime??

I would love to go thru some gun factories. Especially the smaller companies. I just dont live close to any of them being in Alabama. I do like the pic of the factory with the gas meter showing. Thats my line of work.

I want to ask how do you like the grips? i was thinking of buying a pair but i wanted to know how they feel in the hand. oh how big is your hand?

They feel almost identical to a S&W J-frame with Secret Service grips.

I have a set of those grips on a Minimaster that I don't carry, but for shooting they are the real deal!

Well... to answer these questions...
First, you DON'T need an appt.  I just walked in.  They only have a gunsmith on Fridays til 12pm.
The grips feel exactly the same to me as the rubber grips that came on the BW except sooooo much smoother.  I like them because they don't "grab" as I draw from my IWB holster.  I'm keeping them on the gun for now.

thanks for the info. i was going to put them on my wasp but i wanted to know how they felt before i bought a pair...
