Hey guys, I have a new mini magnum with a 1 1/8 barrel. I have searched for the thread over and over but cannot find any info on the crossdraw holster on NAA's website. I realy like it and was wondering if anyone knows if it was made to fit the 1 5/8 barrel or the 1 1/8 barrel. Thanks in advance!

i know nothing about their holsters. but the best way i've ever found to get one made is to look in the phonebook for leather/tailoring then look for something that might look like they're tailoring for bikers. usually you'll find a single mother with a ridiculously expensive sewing machine who, incidentally, does fantastic work.

can't any normal holster be rigged crossdraw? it's just what side you got it on isnit?

Does anyone actually own one and know about it?

Check the Absaroka Kid he makes all kinds of holsters and may well have a cross draw model

Just found one.

An open-bottom holster fits longer barrels. A longer holster than you have barrel is a bit of a waste, if you ask me. It's easily fixable with heavy scissors or tin snips. I think I know what you mean about having a shorter holster than the barrel. It irritates me unless it is a "belt slide" or "short pancake" holster.

The only NAA holsters that I have at the moment are the (very nice) black nylon and velcro ankle holster. Mine fits a black widow just fine. Other minis also fit. I wouldn't put an Earl in it because the front sight is guaranteed to snag. Since you wear an ankle holster on the inside of your leg, these holsters are always "cross draw" to avoid banging it as you walk by something and printing on your pants leg.

The plain leather NAA clipped holsters may be worn cross draw. You have the option to clip to belt with the holster outside the belt, clip to the waist band, clip to the belt with the holster inside the belt, clip to the inside of the waistband... If you get a left and right handed clip holster, you have pretty much all of those options covered.

I've given the NAA shoulder holster the eye a few times, but something bothers me about the barrel up carry. I've talked to several people who love them, but they aren't my personal choice; therefore, I do not have one and can't give advice on that specific holster.

There are so many custom leather options available, it isn't possible to list them in this one tiny post.

Cross draw holster. Are you interested in belt carry, shoulder carry, inside/outside belt or waistband, or what? Would you prefer a pancake? Blackhawk makes holsters that fit a guardian rather nicely, but most of them are too big to fit a mini; these holsters may have a belt threaded through them and also come with a clip... they are ambidextrous. I like the blackhawk pancakes. I have two of them, one fits my single stack mid size prewar Walther PP copy and one that fits a Guardian and my Beretta copy of the tilt-barrel .22 lr.

I prefer to have as many options as I can with one single holster, this is why I do not prefer wet-fit molded leather that is good for only one gun, one hand, one carry position. I don't like that.

These are my preferences. Can you give us more information about exactly what you are trying to do? Remember that everything flips around when your draw is behind the back versus front of the body. Having a left and right handed clip holster with belt holes could be one of the most versatile solutions for midline carry.

Sorry I didn't post sooner, I wanted to think a bit first and was thinking that some more info about what you're after would come out in the thread.

So, I'm asking. By the way, the 1 1/8 mini is very suited to pocket carry. If by "cross draw" you're talking belt carry, I like a bigger NAA mini for that job. Most of the regular posters here have more than one. You've tapped into a big wellspring of mini info. Please give more information and ask a few questions while you're at it, GTF.

That's not bad advice, and you are helping to support a small business.  :)

The mini master cross draw from NAA looks like a steal. Does it carry well?

the cross draw to me seems to be the fastest when I was doing cowboy shooting, shame they make you do "The Dance" to be safe, when the rear holster is actually the one that breaks the 180 degree rule, but I decided to have serinity rather than argue with stupid people.
