TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

heyjoe,

I lost a lot of mine from the transfer to the new board also, but whose counting?   LOL :)

boone123

Somewhere in another time I left over 2700 posts somewhere out there in space.
Been awhile, so maybe I can recycle some of them someday.
Some that I liked, I have went back through google and read them again to see if I still liked them.

Looks like I'm starting over with my post count. Ah well. With practice, I can be as prolific as HeyJoe! :)

TwoGunJayne

You know, the more replies and page views this thread gets, the more it would help to sell them.

(+1 post!)  ::)

Maybe the board could transfer your total post count over to MR. 22. Call them and ask.

Yall are a bunch of wild and crazy guys!! I am fixing to call the cute girl at NAA and see if she knows what year my mini was birthed. If it turns out to be some kinda one of kind collectors item I might want to sell it or trade it for a nice Mossberg ghetto blaster shotgun which comes in a floating tube. One feller did that just the other day.  PS Edit: Well talked to a very nice lady named Sue. She say my mini was made in 1982 so that must have been the year it was bought since it was new and in the box. Quick mental math here using a pencil..been lugging that thing around for 31 years. Thinking since its an antique and obvious colletors item it should be worth around 500 bucks or so. I would also vote for Sue to get a nice pay increase and a promotion. Thanks.

MR_22

Just wait a few years and you can get mini's with a C&R license! ;)

TwoGunJayne

Sign me up for the NAA .32 mini under the C&R license. Doesn't it just have to be a replica of an antique design?

No, I think a firearm has to actually be 50 years old to qualify for C&R. That means anything before 1963 can be transferred with the C&R FFL. I don't have one, so I could be wrong.

I used to count fence posts as a kid when we were traveling. Does that add to my post count?

Uncle_Lee

My Dad drove the car too fast to count fence posts.
If we were in the wagon, you could count the rocks on the road.

Burma-Shave signs were the big deal when I was a kid. I think every kid read them out loud  when going by them.
They were stuck in my mind for years.
We also counted telephone poles. At speed they were like counting fence posts.

I still have a really neat Burma Shave jar with a metal cover that I have had for years.
The signs were a big part of a road trip. If I remember right there were sometimes 8 or 9 in a row.
That was long before stupid became so widespread.

bigwheel

Dittos on the Burma Shave signs. They are classed as a high art form in some circles. My Daddy had them all memorized. Great scenario with the old mug. Betcha that be worth some bucks..not that anybody want to part with it of coure.

LOL and Welcome! If he's still registered and has his settings right, you can probably send him a private message. I don't think he's reading here anymore. His loss. ;)

bigwheel

Hey Gunscout welcome. I hate to bust any bubbles for the artsy phartsy grip girls..but the little guns work just fine without any grips at all. Mine crumbled off ashes to ashes duct to dust many moons ago. Still shot ok.

Gunscout

Thanks for the welcome and the info. I will try a private msg.
