Well them two are purtier than a set of speckled pups! Great job Sir!

MR_22

Nice new clothes! Haven't seen anything quite like those.

Dinadan

I like a New York reload myself. Those grips are an interesting personalization - nice work.

frimsure

One is great, but two is better!

I carry a New-York reload 9mm--two DB9's. Works great for me.

So would I, if I weren't busy quad-carrying RIA .22 tcm pistols. Wow, I love those things!  ;)

That's not quad carry. I'm thinking that's a bit much, Diego! ;)

Open carry season is coming up, friends. We have to have grips that match our accessory options. What's a person do to do? It's worse than bikini season for the fairer sex.

ikoiko

Open carry has been an option in my state for sometime. Never seen it exercised, and now doesn't seem like the right time to start.

The solutions to our problems aren't easy. Fingerpointing, and new law making seem to carry the day.

Both are instant gratification, and neither are effective. It's a shame these things rule  and  are not the exception

An individual has the right to defend them self. Period.

No one wants a wrong headed individual (or collection of them) to harm those in the peaceful pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness.

I'm off my soap box. Any blanks left, are easy to fill in.

Peace be with you and yours

I've never open carried, although it's legal here in Utah. Having a permit, I wonder why I would. To make a statement? Or because it's harder to conceal during the summer?

Maybe I should quad open carry. Do ya think that would get anybody on the street excited??? ;)

TwoGunJayne

I bet someone open-carrying a pistol and rifle in Arizona wouldn't raise an eyebrow. I'm thinking someone open-carrying 5 or 6 guns probably would...

Someone told me once that the first step in carrying a gun is that nobody ever sees it. He then told me the second step: That nobody ever HEARS it.

Kentucky Kevin

By it not being used, or surpressed?

That open carry concept seems a good chance for some mean old gang bangers to take some real nice guns off the blue hairs. I dont like the sound of it one bit.  In Jouston..the noo yawk reload is called stopping off by the property room. That be to snag one for any alleged perps who forget to bring one of their own guns to the shoot out. They also give swimming lessons or so they say.

Kentucky Kevin

that would make for a cheap disposable

Because the Cops open carry and we see gang members taking guns away from them all the time.  Maybe the Cops should carry concealed, or not at all by your logic.

Uncle_Lee

Make enough people uncomfortable and "open carry" will go away.

I sometimes go to another forum to see what is going on here in Indiana and some of the "kids" there (it is full of them) like to plan ahead and get as many open carrying people to meet at a certain store at a certain time. Like the "flash mob" stuff.
They like to see the reaction of the workers and the customers.
That kind of stuff will get "open carry" taken away.

But I guess, kids will be kids.
Seems like adults didn't teach them anything when they were growing up.

Smart thinking Sir. That would have prevented a bunch of cops from dying after being shot with their own guns. You might want to forward this good idear off to Obie and Eric Holder. I bet they would like the sound of it.

Early '90s I lived in South Africa a while.  Gun permits allowed open or concealed carry.  You could go to the grocery store and see the Afrikaans (white, Dutch-descent) women sometimes with pistols on their hip.  Open carry there was a message that "I'm not a target."  I never saw a story about a woman wo had her gun taken by a bad guy.  But a LOT of stories of women leaving their purse someplace (with gun inside) and coming back to find the purse but no gun.  Fanny packs were a favorite carry method for a lot of men.  Armored car services (very commonly used by businesses to transfer money to and from the bank to avoid employees getting robbed) armed their guys with short barrel shotguns.  They would leap out of the truck and wave the guns to get people to step back while they were by the truck.

Maccab

They'd be a target for an AK from Angola though outside right.

Maccab

Hence the "rainbow nation" solution.

Thanks for sharing the info on S.Africa. Heard it has turned real special since Mandela and his commie pals took over. Dont seem quite as bad as what happened to the poor folks of Rhodesia..Zimbabwe or what ever they call it these days. Its indigenous folks is supposedly raising chickens and yams on what was formerly 100 bushel to the acre wheat land..and everybody is starving to death. The white folks are dead or gone after getting their goods and property seized.  Funny how that works out sometimes. Hey this is starting to sound like some of Obies long range plans for us..or maybe short range..hmmm.
