Before you start thinking he is out of his mind on his "Buy it Now" price, on a previous auction it went to $945.00 and did not sell! His reserve was $950.00!

And, yes, he is out of his mind.

That is functionaly ornate, but defeats the primary purpose of a mini, invisibility.

Not sure how well that flip up buckle would work with "overhang" so I will pass on this one..

Kentucky Kevin

I'm going to fix the overhang lol

That just sold on eBay for like 60 bucks about two weeks ago. The guy had two of them one for a may and one for a LR.

Pricey but I do agree the Ppc buckles are the best design ever , very secure , well made of stainless
And true one had operation . I have a few I bought back in the day ( early 1980s) & they were not cheap even then  !! Here's the original ad I bought mine from . This ad is even rare !

I have had all versions of mini buckles , yes even the giant silver & turquoise one , but the
Ppc is the best if you can find one. They seem to slip by because they are so uncommon no one
Knows about them .

Thanks for posting the ad.

In my humble opinion, the only one crazier than the seller on GB is the guy who bid $945.00. If the seller can get the price, he has my blessings. (Not that he needs or wants them!)

That was the first belt buckle I saw. I remembered it because in the ad I saw it had the address. It was on the same block where I bought the first suit I ever paid for myself. As best I recall it was on the 100 block of  East First St.

Your welcome !

Yea the lr version is rare but the magnums are supers rare almost just prototypes
Really , I had the bug the makers for a month to buy mine . Their was also
A multi page write up on them in a gun mag back in the day , their was a option to make them a belt holster . I was told they are "asked" to stop mfg because if you remove the
Hammer block pin the gun can be fired while in the buckle , now you really don't want
A gut with that trick lol... I have & won't try it myself !

What a nifty little project idea for a homebased machine shop.
I don't think this would stop at belt buckles though.

An under the desk or dash thingy.
A leg holster thingy.
A night stand or headboard thingy.
An inside the gun safe thingy.
Possibly even a refrigerator magnet thingy.
The belt holser thingy sounds interesting too.

The best part is, since your not actually making
any guns, just the holding device, there really
isn't that much red tape involved.

Here a few years back I thought up a dealy that
clips on your belt that holds your .22 ammo so
you don't have to fumble with the square plastic
containers that the ammo comes in from the
store.  Kind of like one of those change machines
that drive-in burger attendents or servers used
to wear on their hip....but smaller where you can
load it with ammo and dispense one round at a
time with one hand while you hold the gun in the
opposite hand while reloading it.

It's still just an idea at this point.
But it would make things a little easier
on camping, hiking, backpacking trips.

MDE, have you tried a PEZ dispenser? Seems like the concept would be the same.
Just have to do something about the rim clearing the next rim.
