.32 NAA for Makarov?

I have posted on several forums and have yet to receive a reply. Does anyone out there have a conversion barrel they would be willing to part with for a Makarov or does anyone have any info about doing this to a CZ? I have a .32 NAA Guardian and dies and brass but I would really like to build the Mak conversion. Thanks!

Did they ever do a .32Acp Mak, don't think they did it was in 9x18mm Makarov calibre I think, maybe someone else did later the Bulgarians Arcus make is it... Something like that, or the Czechs, Croats bet there's one out there... Is the .32NAA the same length as a .32Acp? It's a .380 necked down to .32 isn't it, Walther PPK they did a 7.65x17mm model. Does the .32NAA Guardian lock? If you get a .32Acp Walther say if there's room to bore the chamber deeper if required you could bore it wider to .380 perhaps ask a gunsmith bet they'd be able to knock something up if you haven't got the tools etc maybe.

You may even be able to get a barrel maker, say like... Lone wolf, who do drop in Glock barrels in longer formats etc to make you one specially.

I googled .32NAA conversion barrels, got a Diamond back link if that means anything to you, I prefer the .25NAA  in principle given it's a marked improvement over the .25Acp particularly out of a 4" barrel seemingly.

Oh, slight problem with re-boring the chamber, in that even if you did, the slides face is sized for .32Acp D'oh!

How about a Walther PPK in .380Acp with another PPK barrel but in .32Acp so it would fit the gun presumably then bore the chamber.

Some years ago, when makarov.com was the go to place for all things Makarov, I purchased a conversion barrel for one of my Mak's.  It installed easily and works fine with .32NAA.  I have not run across the barrels since.

So you would end up with a Walther PPK in .380ACP and .32NAA?  I am sure someone probably already makes a .32NAA barrel for the Walther PPK.

You would have to turn the .32 chamber into .380 clearly, if someone makes a barrel well that's dandy.

.32 naa is .380 acp with a necked down case. A .380acp host gun in theory is a fine candidate for a conversion. .32 naa has .380 case head dimensions as it's a .380 case.

Alas, makarov.com is dead, dead, dead and mak conversion barrels have gone into rarity.

To get a .32naa barrel for a mak can be done, find one or get one made. There are no off-the-shelf ways that come to mind at the moment. It's been done before, so the problem is already solved... by someone.

Those who mentioned the Diamondback .32naa barrels are unaware that they've been discontinued and are only for Diamondback pistols, not maks.

It's really sad. I had high hopes for DB, but this doesn't look good.

I ordered and received another .32NAA barrel for the Makarov pistol made for Makarov.com. The first run a few years ago were well made but the rifling was so shallow that no real pressures could be developed.
I ordered one of his latest barrels made by Dougles Barrels. This one looks to be a 32-20 blank milled for the Makarov pistol.
My local reloading supply store was out of the 60 grain bullets for the .32 ACP. I had to settle on the heavier 85 grain HP bullet made by Hornandy. This bullet weight is on the upper end of this cartridges capability. As you may know the .32NAA is a necked down .380 cartridge to .32.
I mounted the barrel in a Bulgarian Makarov with the standard sight set up. My hand loads are 4.0 grains of Winchester WSF powder and a good crimp.
Recoil from this load is "snappy" and very flat shooting. I need to fire across a Chronograph to see just how fast the bullet is traveling, but a good guess is at least 1,600 fps.
The wind today would not cooperate making a good two hand hold a bit of a chore. I placed the target at 25 yards. Out of a total of 50 rounds fired, I had no FTF's. I did not bring a drift punch to zero the placement of shots on paper. I'm very happy with how well this little mouse gun shot. I'm sure that the Hornandy bullet moving this fast would be a good CCW load.
Now that the barrel is breaking in, I need to do some further test at 50 yards.

They can't even import it with a double-stack magazine, "target" trigger and a lot of other features. Why would the Gov't Store let a single stack be imported or made in the US by Glock?
