I finally bought my first NAA. I went with the 22LR. I know I could have bought the 22 Magnum and sent it in for a extra cylinder, but I just felt I would start with the 22LR.

I really wanted a pug, but I never could find one in person and I just couldn't bring myself to pay about $100 over retail on the gun broker sites.  I am very happy. I can't wait to shoot it.

I could only find the basic model in 22LR and 22 Magnum in person, but no other models. I have a question - is it worth owning both the 22LR and the 22 Magnum?  Do they feel different?

Congrats on your purchase! I think it is definitely worth owning both a LR and a Magnum mini. I have both, and the magnum does have a different feel.

I like shooting my LR a lot more since I got boot grips for it. My hands are average size for a man, and I had trouble getting a good grip on the LR with birdshead grips. The boot grip helped with that.

I noticed you said thatthedealer said it didn't have a safty notch by your picture it does ,whats up ? The picture looks as if it's a mag.cylinder but your other post says different aboutbeing your first , I'm confused . ???
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

My $.20 worth (inflation), the 1 5/8 mag is the best carry size. I have a 1 1/8 LR, but carry the longer barrel mag. To me, it carries just as easy, conceals just as easy, but has a little more punch. Of course, since you already have the LR, don't sell it, just buy the next one on your list. Hang around a while, and you will understand. Besides, if you sell it, you will just end up having to buy another to replace it.

For what it is worth, your besbargainan is to buy the gun w/ the spare cylinder from your dealer.

The gun does have the safety notches. I was just pointing out the dealer didn't know what he was talking about.  Oh well.

I agree the best think would be to buy a dual cylinder gun, but honestly, how do you find those? I could barely find this one.

Look up phone numbers on the internet, telephone every gun shop in the state. It's cheaper and faster than driving.

So many guns; So little money!
