Sell 4 buy 1.
I guess I will cut down on the amount of minis that I have but it will take time.

I ran across a NAA Talo Buntline 22 LR and couldn't say no to it. 8)

That is nice. I can see why you could not resist. I won't try to hunt down one of those on the internet, but if I ever found one in a shop I would probably buy it. I like that grip too. Do you think it has ever been shot?

Nice piece uncle_lee , thought you were thinning out . Love those grips , wish NAA would start making designer grips (colors don't count)like those and others that's just what makes the gun personal almost , surprised other gun manufacturers haven't figured that out yet , what could possibly be the cost next to nothing in bulk I'd bet then again if they're union made (but don't make them in China dam it) who knows . As we all know grips are very special to any given weapon . Wouldn't be nice to have grips like this come on new mini's ?

It looks like it was test fired at the factory only.
It looks cleaner than some of the new ones that I have bought.

Goes well with your Spanish Fork long barrels.   But you need two?

Nice looking pistol. Haven't generally liked the boot grip on the minis, but I think this one looks great.

Have you tried CVang grips on it?

Ovid - it would be nice to have the option to buy grips like those. I am guessing the ones in your photo are cast material of some sort - is that right?

In my opinion those grips on Uncle Lee's buntline are just too nice to replace unless the owner was going to use it as a carry gun and wanted his favorite shooting grips.

Dinadan,
I believe the grips shown on the Sharps are Gutta percha.  Like rubber, it is derived from the sap of a tree.  It could be cast into a mold and when dried, became hard like wood. It was used extensively in the mid to late 19th century for everything from gun grips to insulation for telegraph wire and even cast furniture.

Yup cfsharry covered it all and more , rather simple design but would look great on these mini's and such .

Think gutta percha is used in dentistry  still.
