Added a guardian 32acp with box papers and desantis pouch/holster and 2 mags for $249.99 and a .22 short old model Newbuy park calif stamped without safety notches and cracked faux ivory grips for $100. How did I do???? Also I shot the .22 short with .22 cb shorts and hit a 2 liter soda bottle from 30+ yards. I guess it was luck but I hit it again after it fell on the ground so maybe I just have the most accurate one ever lol.

I do not know about the Guardian, but that Short was a bargain in my opinion. I like that unfluted cylinder. I do not use my short for a carry gun, and I carry on an empty chamber anyway, so the lack of safety notches would not bother me. From the look of that Short I bet it has seen a lot of pocket time, probably not in a pocket holster.

Very nice family photo! I like using a book for background too.

 Now that's a fine collective start , thanks for the pic's .
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

I think you did good. I'd buy them for that price.
Guns are a lot like parachutes:

Yep think I did good too. So the question is, should I have the short cylinder updated with safety notches or keep it original? I don't plan on ever carrying it so is it woth it to have it updated?

Personally, I would keep the original cylinder, if you are not going to carry it.

I carried one of the little short models without the safety notches for years.
Didn't load but 4 in it.

Now I carry two minis with safety notches and still load only 4.
I am just too old and carried single actions for too many years to break the empty chamber habit.

Any chance of having a standard cylinder installed  by NAA and you keeping the original one as well??

Looks like you have a super nice collection of NAA products there!

I could be wrong but I think they want to get the old cylinders off the market completely and won't let you keep them if you get a new safety cylinder.
Update on them. I glued, and sanded the grips on the short and they look sooooo much better. Almost like a nice set of stags. The guardian is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Needs some polishing but I really like it. It carries in a front pocket sooooo much better than the lcp,tcp,p3at that I've owned in the past even though its 3-5 ounces heavier. It's sooo much smaller overall. I like it soo much that I've been looking for a seecamp to go with it. I know it's not a naa but it'll be ok :p
