got my Sidewinder yesterday

Got my Sidewinder yesterday---with the 22 lr conversion cylinder.  Saw it at a local gunshop a few days ago---thought it was priced too high.  Then I went to GunBroker and started watching the auctions for a few days and realized his price was in line.  Am one of his regular customers so did some haggling...otd for $463.  serial #07XX.

Got a holster grip for it...fit OK as is but slowly ground a little of the holster material away where the front of the frame meets the holster when folded.....was slightly elevated due to the extra metal around the crane pivot screw.  Now fits just like my other minis and carries well in my right hand pocket while strolling the property.  Now if I could just hit the lotto jackpot I could buy a Ranger!

I have ALWAYS been amazed at the precision of these little revolvers, and the Sidewinder is no exception.  Mine came with the lr cylinder installed, so immediately traded out with the magnum.
2 loads of snake shot first, followed by 3 rounds of Maxi-Mags for the bigger critters.

Nice, I planned on carrying mine but I just can't get my lr out of my pocket lol. Think I'm gonna send my sidewinder off for the conversion soon.

Sounds nice, how about a photo with the holster grip. I have the oversized rubber grip like comes on the bw on all of mine. I tried lots of other grips except the holster one and selleted on the over sized rubber as the best for me. When I walk the property or am mowing I load whichever I have iwb with snake shot. These are the best little revolvers period. Hope you enjoy yours.

  Welcome also ............congratulations on your fine piece . Just seen one go at auction for $ 260.00 plus $ 30.00 shipping a couple of minutes ago , would never have thought one would go so cheap only mag. cylinder with that one  .
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

I really love my SW, :) got it for 289.00 but only mag cylinder. Not as accurate as my BW though.
