.22 Laser dry-fire training system in an NAA mini?

Hello, friends.

I was talking with someone about those 9mm snap-cap bullets with the self-contained laser, you know... the ones you use for dry fire training.

He asked me if there were one for rimfire. Good question, so I looked it up for him and found a couple. Laserlyte has one that they claim can fit .22 to .50 caliber.

There's also the

It says it's .22 compatible.

Has anyone tried anything like this in an NAA mini? With rimfire available online at .09-.19c a round, I can see something like this paying for itself.

...but do they work well? Do they actually fit?

Not so high tech, but has anyone seen the dry fire exercise known as the "penny drill?"

The picture is worth a thousand words. I bet this would be a real challenge on a mini versus a full size pistol.

I can see something like this combined with the laser system. Double the training!

Tangents and Cotangents are the Sine of the times... not worth one red cent.

Fortunately, you can reload your penny in that training drill. It cuts operating costs.

NAA obviously needs to make a mini that shoots pennies. Way cheaper ammo that way!

Here's a great design to start with. Imagine it in stainless with black rubber grip panels. 209 primers loaded in a grip magazine could provide the power.

20 shots from this baby at 8-12 fpe each would run people off in a hurry!

Two models, one chambered for pennies and one in nickel caliber. This way, as the Federal Government continues the runaway printing of money like they've been doing, our coin guns become even MORE economical than bullets!

At the risk of going back on "target", I have sold a handful of the Laserlyte targets and multi-caliber adjustable lasers. They are quite a lot of fun and accurate. I never tried them in the mini, as the lasers I had would not adjust below .38 caliber. I see no reason they would not work with a .22 caliber laser insert, even with the cylinder out.

Couldn't you just get something like the NAA Black Widow with the Venom laser accessory, remove the cylinder for dry fire and just dry fire against a dot target to watch the wiggle of the laser giving witness to your follow-through?
