My name is Matt.  I picked up my first NAA mini today. I'm one of those guys who can't walk into a gun store and just buy something.  I choose 1 particular gun and obsess over it for weeks or months until I find it.  The BW was no different.  Before my purchase I lurked here and read the first 20+ pages of this forum.  I also ordered C Vang grips and a CS holster before  receiving the mini.  I ended up buying it on GunBroker and paying quite a bit for it.  It's ok though.  I'm glad I got it.
I'm no good at introductions so I'll list some facts.
I'm a 35 y/o Army veteran.  I work construction.  I have my CCW and carry a Kahr CM9.  I got my first gun at 11 years old and have enjoyed them since then.
I saw my first NAA mini in 1996 in La Ceiba, Honduras when I was on a 6 month vacation.  I have wanted one since then.
You guys seem like an insightful bunch and I'm glad you're here.

You might want to lock up the BW or it'll try to slip into your pocket in place of the Kahr.

Welcome
CVang grips are great in most opinions, others like them not so much. I have the BW and like it.

Welcome again

Welcome from another noobie (I'm 3 weeks old). I'm thinking seriously about CVang grips for my BW. Pros and cons, anyone? My EDC is a Makarov so the BW will be a BUG.

Thanks for the welcomes.  The Black Widow was in my pocket all day.  I carry the Kahr AIWB and it gets uncomfortable with all the bending and climbing I have to do.
I'm pretty sure that the BW will be used at work and fishing/ camping.
I did get to the range this afternoon.  I fired 45 rounds of CCI 40gn WMR FMJs, about the same in bulk LR.  Also fired several Colibris, and rat shot in LR and WMR.  It shot pretty well.

I did have a problem with the grips.  The left grip panel is a little warped.  The upper part behind the cylinder didn't fit tightly to the frame.  I used a heat gun and got it pretty close.  I opted for the cheaper glass filled plastic ones and shimmed them to a snug fit with electrical tape.  They feel nice and do help ceep the cylinder from snagging on the pocket.

Welcome to the forums from central Ohio, and thank you for your service!!  Looking forward to seeing some pics!

I took a couple cell phone pics to show a size comparison.  It's actually longer than my Kahr.

Maccab

Is it less bulky though overall, than the Kahr?

It's definitely less bulky and much lighter. I really hardly know it's there.  Very comfortable in the pocket. I don't have my holster yet but I imagine  it will be even better. Going from the GLOCK to the Kahr was a great improvement  and likewise from the Kahr to the Black Widow.  When I get  home I'll see if my powder scale will weigh them.

My reloading scale errors out. I guess it can't handle the weight.

That BW is far, far thinner than that Kahr or Glock could ever hope to be.
