What are the thinnest grips available for the mag?
From NAA or custom, doesn't matter.

I'm planning on picking up a pug soon.  I don't mind grips being larger front to back, but would like to keep a slimmer profile.

And does anyone have a rear shot of CVang grips compared to pug, wasp, or regular wood birds eye grips?

Thanks

The absolute thinnest? Stretch the cut-off finger of a rubber glove over the bare butt of the mini. It'll keep the dirt out.  :)

You could also manually plane down the regular wood birdseyes until you're happy. Just get a sheet of sandpaper and slide them back and forth on the table until you're happy. Try to apply pressure evenly across the wood slab. Using wet/dry sandpaper and rinsing it once in a while with some sort of liquid will speed the cutting. You can use basically any liquid on wet/dry. I've used Coca-Cola, beer, lighter fluid, water... you get the idea.

I'm the other way, I want the grips bigger. :)

Screw each grip to the edge of a narrow board, clamp board in vice, and have at it with wood rasp, file, sanding block, then sandpaper.  Using table belt sander where belt has no back plate  would also work.
Have made grips that way.

The stock PUG slip-on grip probably IS the thinnest grip you can get.

Hmm, I just might try this.  I'll probably end up rushing it and ruining a pair.

Wow, really?
I was under the assumption that they were fatter than the other normal sized grips.  I guess pictures can be deceiving.  Maybe I'll just stick with the slip on ones then.

I wish someone made some thin plastic checkered grips.

CVang grips are very thin.  Steve

A long time ago I had a mini (Don't recall if  NAA or FA) that had plastic grips. If you tightened them too tight they would break & mine did.
I simply wrapped tape around the frame. That made it much thinner & yet still worked quite well.

I finally got around to ordering a pair of CVang grips 2 days ago. Their web site shows pics of them to demonstrate their grips are no wider than the cylinder. Like TwoGun, being too fat (al least when referring to grips :)) has never been an issue for me. I have a Pug in the shop. I will try to remember to check them tomorrow for thickness.
Guns are a lot like parachutes:

Where, exactly?
I can't find what you're referring to.
Please LMK how it compares to the pug's stock grips in terms of thickness.

I'm worried that the CVang grips would be too long for pocket carry.  My pants have small pockets.  I still think it'd be more shootable with CVang grips that are cut down in height... but who knows.

Maybe somebody else can confirm or refute this. The slip-on grips are just thin rubber that go over the frame. I didn't like them, so I immediately removed them from my PUG and put on boot grips.

What about it, fellow PUG owners? Are they thick or thin?
