Hi, I'm new to the forum.  I picked up a Breaktop today.  It's a neat little gun and MUCH faster to load than my other mini guns.  I like it alot.  The grips don't "do it" for me so I've started makeing a set out of some left over hard wood flooring I have.  They still need some shaping and I need to figure out what kind of finish to put on them.  Here are some cell phone pics.

Sorry, I have to figure out the picture posting process.  If all else fails I'll look for some instructions.

The grips are looking good.  I sanded the grips on my 22 Short off so they were flat, it does work better for me.  Tey going with Birchwood Casey Tru-oil, makes a finish just like factory.  Before the first and inbetween coats, put on a coat of ArmorAll, it reacts somehow with the turoil and hardens it up about 5 times faster than without it.  Good luck and post pictures when you are done.  Larry

Wow... those grips are looking great!

As long as we're talking grips, I thought I'd throw in what I'm working on... I'm going to inset some Pug charms into the grips (hope it turns out as nice as this Photoshopped pic!)

Alright! Stop it! And I mean now! You guys keep this up, and I may have to get off the couch and see what I can do....

   PS-

The PUG charm is a good idea. Keep us posted on how it turns out.
Guns are a lot like parachutes:

CWC --> When you're adding a post, look down below the text window and you'll find two buttons:  "Preview/Post" and "Upload Attachment."   You just upload your .jpg file, and there you go - a pic HTML code is inserted at the end of your text.  Hope that helps.
