I finish a set of polymer clay grips for the short last night. Not horrible but sure not good and they were way to thick. I find the clay hard to work with because it is so soft I mess up as much as I fix. Getting old and shaky but I must try it again one day....
Kind of fun!!!!
Oh no, no pictures!!!!

Polymer clay has conditioners in it to make it softer and more workable. The more you handle it the more conditioned it gets, making it warn and VERY hard to work with. Next time you are working with it, and it gets too conditioned just throw it in the freezer for about 5 minutes and you will be good to go.

I think you should take the main spring out of the handle and wrap the clay around it , keeping both side separate by use some clear wrapping stuff for your hand and separate both sides of clay then grab it for a custom form fit to hand . Then trim away for final fit . You gotta try it just to see how it goes . PICTURES PLEASE . :D :D
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .
