Number 500 sold as the last one?  I have 501, maybe I should sell mine as the absolute last?   Only thing is I know its not true.

I don't think I would part with $2,200.00 just to get an NAA top-break Magnum.  Have never paid such a high amount for any firearm I've purchased, including a NM Springfield Armory M1A.  At that price, can the new owner afford to use the revolver, or should he just keep it in a safe somewhere so it isn't stolen?  (SMH)

Just like a president we all know selling a health care bill.
It don't matter what one says, just so it sells. (POS)

For someone not immersed in the culture of NAA I guess that it was logical that if 500 were supposedly made and that one is numbered 500, it is the last one. The seller got a good price for it.

I emailed him when he tried to sell it a while ago, he was fully aware it was not the last.  He is from Ohio, my gunshop got two in.  I have to believe since I got 501 he got 500.

Well, that changes things a bit. I do not know if being the last one made actually increases the value to anyone, but certainly that claim should not be made with knowledge that it is false.

I do think having one in the 500s is cool, there were fewer than 100 of them

heyjoe

but in the end the seller is still a lying POS

Maybe with the two engraved commemoratives with special serial numbers, the production was actually 502.
One special went to the NRA and didn't have the BT prefix.
My wife's went to the Youth Shooting Sports Alliance with serial number YSSA001.

zippovarga

Not to ruffle feathers at all, since I've been on hiatus for quite some time, but the final serial number of the 500 promised for distribution, is 561. Lest we forget the original 60 kept by NAA as the control? But I'm sure this is common knowledge among us yes? So.....subtracting the initial 60, this makes mine number 65. One of the first "released" 100. Does it matter to all? Nope.......would it matter to some? Perhaps. The Provenance associated with the distribution debacle is yet another "tread lightly" subject, with those who don't care about low numbers and those who do care about low numbers being divided. My self being in the latter group of course...lol.  Good PR? No (referring to the loathsome individual who capitalized on others misinformation and not the "oopsie" distribution from the Early Bird) Not good PR. But....we all know....sometimes the desire clouds the senses. Then we have kingt and his reminder that there were indeed exceptions in the serial numbers....were these or were these not part of the allotted "500"?? If not, there are a higher number of BTs out there, if so, then the 561 serial number ceiling is compromised by the special edition releases, in which, we may never truly know the last BT prefixed serial number.

By the way.......sorry for being gone so long! I almost feel like that edison gold prospecting guy...lol. But I am back with purpose....What that is, should become evident soon enough. <evil grin> lol

Really?
A LOT?

I have 2 that have not had a cartridge in them (except at the factory) that I would sell to you for "a LOT".

$4060.00, FFL to FFL

I won't separate them.
I have saw little children go into different foster homes. Brothers to one, sisters to another, their lives are never really happy after that.

Thanks, man, it's nice to know you're looking out for me.

If I bought one for 1700, my wife would send me to the asylum.

If I bought 2 for over 4000, I'd drive myself to the asylum.

Still, it's nice to have friends like you!

that is a very good price for 2 breaktop rangers that you know were well taken care of by the person who has them, especially considering they are getting up into the $2500 range. if i didnt already have a couple i would jump on it.

What would be really cool is if I could afford to say, "I'll take them!"

Triple the price around here as well as up to $1.00 per round. As soon as the dummies around here stop buying it in their shooting desperation the sooner the supply will pick up and the prices come back to normal.

Don't want one as bad as you thought, huh?
Well maybe you will win the lottery. That is what I am wanting. Then your wife won't know a measly little 4000 is missing. 8)

I want many things - a LOT. I want to be younger, taller, better looking and above all I want to be much richer!

The only thing I seem to have a LOT of is "want".
