Why Don't New Threads Get the "New" Pointer?

When I start a new thread on the "Stories/CJ Other" topic board, the "new" banner doesn't show up like it does indicating new posts on the "NAA Products" topic board.  Do those banners only show up for new posts, and not threads?

I did, huh?  I suppose it just doesn't show "new" to the person who posted the message.  Smart system.

Mndoug, I think if you go to your bookmarks and reload NAA Topics you will see the "New" pointer.
