Was at Lowes today. Took my spare cylinder.
Rubber Chair Tips, 7/8  - 1 inch.

Beauty! That's one for the "alternate carry" thread, eh?

Feel free to move or link to where you feel it most useful. Most of the thread is off topic. Not a problem. Just wanted the OP to see an option for his question.

Personally, I'd go for a NY reload.

I was saying a link to a good thread couldn't hurt now and then.

FBI says most confrontations end with proper presentation without firing. What are they doing that is so right?

Maybe it's because they have a badge too and will hunt you down to the ends of the earth :)

Please link it. On a quick look, I'm not seeing the suggested thread.

I tried the rubber chair tip the other day and decided against it because the cylinder went into it a pretty good ways and was just a bit too tight. It is real hard to pull the cylinder out of the tip. Was for me anyway. The small "baby aspirin" bottle fits good and you can either put a pair of ear plugs in there or 5 extra lr rounds making a total of 10 in the container.

Where is it written you have to stay at the scene if you are involved in a shooting? IF, and I repeat IF you feel safe, by all means stay there. If nothing else you can ensure no one bothers any potential evidence. However, if there is any doubt about your safety, LEAVE, and call 911. Tell them what happened, where it happened and if you think an ambulance is needed, and where you are and why you left. These actions will go a LONG way to helping your case with the nice prosecutors you will be meeting.

Did you try cutting off some of the rubber chair tip? Makes no difference to me. Whatever works for you is great. Myself, I just carry an extra mini.

The coldest man I ever knew carried a colt .380 mustang, 2 spare mags and a tiny h&r .22 rim fire cylinder pin revolver conversion.

You could count on him to do the right thing.

His advice? "Shoot them in the brain, spine, or face to slow them down. Kill them with the knife or spike. Style matters, make it artistic." Never saw him smile.

He was one of the scariest Sierra foxtrot I have ever seen. He never talked much. I never saw him flinch, never saw him sweat.

What makes a man like that? He just plain made me nervous. I heard he had a thing for grenades. Said he was from "the middle of nowhere," California.

That guy could freeze water with his hands, I swear it.

Oh Heck that was Arnold Schwartzneiger , the past governor of that state . Harmless really .. :) :) :)
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

I noticed something strange on my NAA Short as far as quick reloads.

When the cylinder is warm/hot from running it, I can "sling" most of the rounds out without having to poke with the cylinder pin. It speeds loading, which warms the cylinder more, which makes it easier to sling out the empties.

It's only the short-only frame, never had this happen with an LR or mag.

OT: It's easy to freeze water with your hands. Fill the ice tray, put it in the freezer, close the freezer. Nothing to it.  8) (Hasta la vista, baby. I'll be Bach, you can be Beethoven.)  8)

Mass is smaller, heats faster, expansion of chambers sooner.  Simple solution to get the LR and MAGs to expand:  Shoot more.  Shoot faster.

No I didn't. I was just looking for something to carry the lr cylinder in with some colibris. As far as quick reloads go, I carry 3. A widow with mags, a 1 5/8" mag, and a shorty. All 3 loaded specifically for different things. Widow, 5 Gold Dots; 1 5/8" mag, 2 shot shells and 3 CCI Maxi-Mag+V's: and shorty with HP's. Just wanted a few loads for quiet time, if there is such a thing with a mini.

I misread that for a moment I thought it said "I noticed something strange on my NAA Shorts" I knew they did baseball caps, but I didn't know they did shorts - I was also concerned what you'd got on your shorts.

If NAA makes NAA shorts, they MUST have pockets for minis! :)

redhawk4

Well may be there's a new product line for them - clothing with pockets for Minis, should be easy to build several pockets into most clothing items, thereby making the carry of NY reloads even easier, perhaps even a swimwear line with waterproof pockets - what about it Sandy? :)

NAA ballcap with a mini pocket in the crown.

NAA clip-on tie with tie-bar and a mini holster on the back side.

We could have so much fun with this!

Interesting twist in quick(er) reloads.
Take apart one's apparel to uncover extra guns and ammo.

Scene has a pile of clothing, a loose boot, belt, cap flung to one side, ripped shirt hanging from a banister.
"Sir, how long did this gunfight last?"
"Well, longer than usual, I suspect.  I was gettin' worried I'd be nekkid before the other party would give up."

TwoGunJayne

Warning: This strategy may backfire if you are very attractive.  ;D

That line of thinking puts a whole new meaning on the tag "Gun Fumbler" :)

If you read Sandy's Soapbox they're looking for volunteers to model the new Leopard Skin Print Thongs with the built in Pug holster   ;)
