I am a big fan of naa.I have a widow and a sheriff. No complaints with the sheriff.I did have a small problem with the widow.About a month ago I contacted naa about the widow problem.Spoke with a women who answers the phone.I got a ten minute dissertation about why I should not be having a problem with the revolver.Realizing I was not getting any place with her I asked to speake with a company  GUNSMITH .When I finally got the smith on the line he was very helpful and immediately recognised the problem. He explained the process for sending the revolver in and taking care of the problem.I do not remember what her name was.Maybe she was having a bad day.The whole thing was very frustrating. The whole thing could have been avoided if she would have let me explain my problem with the revolver instead of trying to explain to me why I did not have an issue with the revolver.

I think customer service has there hands full these days and that is something they are not used too. I would like to know what the problem was and if you would like to share the results. Are they taking dare of it as I'm sure they are?

The problem was the grips. The grip screw would not back out of grip panel when trying to remove the grips.I had never removed the grips while I had the revolver .I bought it knew about two months ago. That said I felt that this was a problem created by them not me.I was informed by the lady that if the firearm was not lacking in functionality or accuracy  then the problem was not  their issue to take care of.I  did not see it her way.I bought the firearm New.Paid a good price for it.This was a defect in the firearm from the factory. The smith explained  procedure to send the firearm back to them to correct the problem. Then their was no problem.I could have tried myself to rectify the problem but I felt the only way I could remove the grips would have damaged them..then it would have been my problem.

I think our situation with the government has taken some of the steam out of them , us , whoever is concerned these days . Myself were fighting county water from being forced on us at the tune of $6000 plusmonthly billing for what we don't want or need , thingslike this along with general health kinda keeps us sidelined and distracted . If there was another continent to sail off to I'd be the first to sign up . Fighting city hall is all it's cracked up to be . Big fight coming at commissioners meeting the first for when its suppose to start , tying to muster follow neighbors is a real act , a lax group of not wanters . People have generally given up on all areas of government and just what their power is , shame it is .  :(

$6,000 a month for county water?
It's too bad that our friends cant be here with us today

if there is a defect from the factory than it is their issue and to pawn it off on you is unacceptable.

No Joe that's the right to have it pass in front of my property , it's a one time fee hook up is another 1200-1500 to have it run into the house also at my expense . Then the billing starts monthly for the water itself and even if we hook up and not use it its going to be about $35 bucks a month even if we don't use a drop , NICE GUYS HEY !!!! These commissioners are power drunk evidently with us paying their salaries to boot . Of course they are somewhat wealthy in their own right so money seems to not matter sounds like our feds doesn't it . Which way did you say that other continent was ?? Theres a fight coming real soon , I can kinda feel the cuffs right now .  >:(

how far back from the road is your house? $ 7500 total? considering florida pay rates for labor, someone is making a killing on this deal. i have no doubt there are brown bags of cash being passed around.

to hook up to natural gas here its free from the street to the house and then a plumber to connect it to the house. i dont have to pay anything either for the cost to run the pipe in the street.

Do some research on the mandatory water hook up.  You will find that your area is not unique.  There is federal grant money in the form of matching funds paying for the water mains. In order to qualify for the federal monies,  local jurisdiction must have a high rate of consumer participation.  Hence the local mandate to hook up at a reduced subsidized rate if you sign on initially.  If you wait, the tap fees increase significantly.  Sound familiar?
This is a part of an on going effort to render us more dependant on government for our basic needs. I used to like my well water too.

Sorry for the thread drift rant. For the OP ... just have them send you another grip screw if you lack the expertise to get the other out without damaging the BW grips. If you can't do that , you might reconsider removing them yourself anyway.  Some things are just best left to experts.

Thanks Scbuxton that's great info to work with . Also sorry for the drift .  :o

I went into the NAA factory on Monday (I am a local) for a new 22 WMR cylinder, and the poor woman had probably 15 calls in the 20 minutes I spent there. I however had a great interaction with her, although she did seem very stressed and worn out, but never impolite.

Now you're making us jealous!  ::)

How long before you were out the door with your mag cylinder fitted, if you don't mind me asking?
