ok everyone.  what is the wobbler or wobbly floppy that everyone references?

It is a nickname for the folding grips that NAA makes for their guns. They got the name because they sometimes don't fit tightly. People that use them love them. Personally they are not for me.

I think the term was coined by the poster "Bigwheel".

Fix the wobble (if present) with a couple of pieces of thin plastic. You can cut them with scissors. (the plastic shims, that is.)

My floppy-wobbler does not flop side-to-side.  It flops fore-aft.  The buttons that anchor the grips to the shooting position are not a "perfect" fit in the holes.  When I cock the hammer, the barrel moves up a tad.  When I start to depress the trigger, the barrel moves back down a tad.  The grips, however, stay perfectly still in my hand.

I cannot think of a way to correct the problem, because every time I open or close the grips, the ball detents move in and out of the holes, thus causing wear, or the "oblonging" of the holes.

The fix is an easy one; take them off and replace them with the wooden Secret Service grips available................ LOL..................

I LOVE the folding grip on by BW.  Maybe I got lucky, but it fits snug.  I have a shorty with a neck holster I carry more often, but if going in to a more serious threat zone than grocery shopping, the BW in a holster grip worn IWB on my strong side rear hip is primary carry.

A Wobbler is a crime that can be charged as a felony of a misdomeanor at the judges or DAs discression.  In many states, carrying a concealed weapon is a wobbler.  Depending on your motive, you can get a slap on the wrist or sent to prison.

Considering on of the primary uses of NAA firearms is concealed carry, you should know the laws if you you plan on that use.

My old style folding grips fit fine.  I am glad some pointed out the scratching. Scotch tape fixed that. Fixing a loose grip should be almost as easy.

For the .22lr, the stock grip is useless as it is too small.

Wiggler or wobbler for firearms would be loose fitting AR15 uppers and lowers.  Accu-wedgies to the rescue for poor quality control.
