Guys and Gals I just received my new holster from Derrick at DRB Holsters.   I am very impressed with the quality of the holster and the quickness of delivery.   I showed him an old MadHat holster I used to have to carry IWB.   He already had a pattern similar and made it for me.   It rides just like my old MadHat.  I am glad to be the proud owner of one of your holster Derrick.   He deserves a place with the other excellent holster makers on this forum!

Very sharp looking holster , I just might have to try one (:

That is a very nice looking holster!!!!

I might be interested if "HOLSTER!" wasn't blazoned down the "concealed" design (?!)

My own thought is the snap button should be on the down side in case it ever did undo itself it would find its way to the ground . Only an opinion .  :) :)

Good looking holster but will have to agree.

He is a new holster maker so I think all these comments are valuable suggestions for him to make note of.   I think you a right, now that I think about the branding of the IWB holster.   However, since it isn't tuckable the birds head of the gun doesn't hide anyways.   Otherwise an untucked shirt hides the strap of the holster.   Still wouldn't hurt to put the logo underneath the strap.

DRB_Holsters

Thanks for the post Quickdraw!

Yes, I am new to this.....about 4 months old! :)

I am taking notes gentlemen....no more logos on front of strap!
In my defense....as Quickdraw noted, these are not tuckable, so if someone was able to read "Holsters", they've probably already seen your weapon!  With that said,  I do have a few left with logos....(3) that will accommodate a PUG or 1-1/8" or 1-5/8" 22mag mini & (3) that are made for the Black Widow..(see pic).  These will be the last with strap logos.

Thanks, Derrick

Please show the other side of the holster so we may peruse its lines. If the other side looks as good as the clip side I would say we have another winner here Gentlemen in the holster maker section.

DRB; Looks like quality work.  Nicely done.  Your logo on the INside will still get the word out and show your brand.  I would also suggest getting away from the cheesy nickel "boy scout craft" rivets and use something a little classier.  You have a nice product, and the little details will boost you into a better category.  Perhaps even using a rivet setter to avoid the dings and tool marks would even be an improvement.  Thanks for posting some of your work and exposing yourself to critical jerks (like me) to make your stuff better.

AND I will buy your first IWB BW holster without the visible logo (So maybe I'm not such a jerk after all.)

Arent quieter black nylon snaps available, speaking of low light discipline index?

This is a tough crowd, DRB, but they are giving sound advice. These folks have been around the block a time or two, so they know what they are talking about.

You have plenty of talent and skill - and we'd love to see your brand grow. If you can please this bunch (myself included!) you can please anybody.

TwoGunJayne

Absolutely right, P.M. Where are my manners?

Sir. The holsters looks slick and pro. There's nothing wrong with the "look." I think you've got that part down solidly.

We all always have our little nitpicks and "it would be better if's" and I figure you sort of want that sort of thing...? Maybe?

Sorry if we were too forthcoming.

Got any more holsters?

Anyone interested in a "tattooed" holster?

I can do custom logos, pics, initials, mottos.....etc. on the holsters.

Basic riveted IWB snap holster = $35
Add $10 for hand sewing(replacing all but top rivet)
Add $10 for custom "tattooing/engraving"

or $50 total for both hand stitching & tattooing, shipping included.

This one should be $50, but since it wasn't custom ordered, I'll let this one go for $45 shipped.   It will fit the Pug, Wasp, a 1 1/8" or 1 5/8" magnum mini.

If no takers by tomorrow morning, I'll post it on eBay.

Email me if interested.  [email protected]

Very nice work. You say custom logos etc; could you do my House Seal?

DRB_Holsters

It may take a little work....I would need to get it down to 2 colors(Black and white) and see if I can lose some of the tiny details.....some of them are too small to engrave.  The shield shouldn't be to hard to work with....the crown is going to be a little more difficult.
I'll work on it this afternoon when I get home and see what I can do with it.

Wow DRB that is AWESOME!!!!

TwoGunJayne

Seconded. That's cool. I like it.

By the way Derrick I sent you an e-mail from [email protected]. Wondering if you got it

RogueTS1

I like it. Could you do the same on a pocket holster?

I make a few holsters myself and I will say that your "Tattoo" work is amazing!!! Nice touch to a fancy rig!!!

RogueTS1

I like the middle one if you can do so without the rivets, sew it instead and round the bottom corners a bit.

DRB_Holsters

Like this?

Holster is ambidextrous, but which side do you want the crest on?  Right or left hand pocket?....Crest on thigh or facing out?  Or put it on both sides?

Crest on 1 side = $45
Crest on both sides = $55

Arms on the outside only. Looks very good. Yes I am in the US.

PS: just need to make sure a "Secret Service" grip will clear the holster.

I need to know left or right pocket to determine which side will be the "outside".
Also, can you email me a pic of the "Secret Service" grips you speak of?

Sorry, missed that part. I would like it to go in right side pockets.

Hey, roguets, go ahead and spring for the other $10 and have both sides done! (See how easy I spend your money?)

Mr. DRB-
First, WELCOME to the forum. You have some nice looking holsters there. One of the little annoyances I have with my pocket holsters is sometimes they do not push off eadily. If there were a small "bump" of leather about where teh second finger falls, it would be simple to push it off the gun as you bring it out. For what it may be worth, if you had an email address or web site on the back side, it would make it much easier for folks to re-order, or if the holster got passed around, strangers could pick up on it. While you may be new to making holsters, you do seem to know a little about the minis. I am surprised no one has mentioned the CVang grips before now!

Grayelky..... I thought I would try to answer both of your inquires about "Cvang grips" and "pushing a pocket holster off" with one video.

The video link below is the same style of holster I will be making for Roguets.

Roguets......after seeing the video above and the pic below....do you want me to remove more material from around the trigger on your holster?
