  Thanks td,

Here is a couple more things that I have done to firearms.    A body in motion stays in motion.      Jim

I have some tape that you have to pry off to get it off after it sets.     It makes the gun more shootable to me.   Taking up that space behind the trigger.    I started with a chunk of aluminum.   Made a pattern I wanted and magic marker it on the aluminum and started cutting grinding and filing.  I like the way it turned out.    Jim

You know whats cool about your filler piece it improves the grip without increasing the footprint for which the mini was made for to begin with , small and unnoticeable . Good for you , maybe Sandy might see this and give notice for accessories .  :)

excellant point about the adapter not increasing the footprint!

really nice job on that grip adapter! kudos on thinking about it in the first place! what is the red tape that you are talking about? i have a couple of tyler t grip adapters for j frames but i could never stand them because they move a little when you are firing.

If the Tyler-T grips move during firing,I found that there are two easy cures for it.

1- Place a small patch of masking tape on each flange that goes under the grip, the added thickness will tighten it and make it more secure.

2- A strip of electrical tape around the front of the T-Grip and the first part of the frame will also secure the grip to the frame.

The tape is 3M acrylic double sided tape.  It is a high bonding tape.  I used it on my original Tyler T on my Taurus 605 J frame to help secure it.  It is solid as a rock.  I had a Uncle Mikes boot grip on the 605 and I got a little trigger bite with stiff loads but it handles perfect with the Tyler T.    The little adapter on the mini helps in the same way and keeps is small.   Jim.
