Been lurking around for a little while, so I figured I would join. I have my first question. If you found a .22 mag(only cylinder), with 1.125" barrel used. What would you expect to pay. Without tax of back ground check. I know as little as possible, but would $35 from new msrp sound correct or more? Also lets way the gun locks up good. But needs some polishing. Means its been sitting up awhile and needs some tlc. Thanks!!

Best that I can tell you is that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay, and the seller is willing to accept.

The recent craze made it very much a seller's market, but that's calming down a bit.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is a precise answer to your question. If you're buying, get it cheap. If you're selling, be patient.

Either way, there's a life warranty to the current owner... so there's that.

Edit: Oh yeah. By the way, "hey there, new guy!" Let's talk of some guns.

I already have a black widow I picked up used. But I am debating on getting this .22 mag. Bit Iam waiting to see if they will finance it for me.

Dinadan

Buffalo - welcome to the forum! Regarding your question, I notice that Cheaper than Dirt has new NAA Mini Single Action Revolvers, .22 Magnum 1.13", listed for $214 to $218. Of course if you bought from them there would be an FFL fee and shipping - almost certainly adding another $50+- to the total.

For a used .22 Mag only, in good condition, $185 out the door would not be a bargain, but it would not be unreasonable. That is just my opinion based on what I have seen for sale locally.

buffalo

Denidan. Thats what I was wondering. Not the best of deals. But not getting ripped off eather!

Well I guess I should introduce myself. Bobby Forrest is my name. Im a house mover by trade. But guns are fun. Picked up my first naa black widow a couple months back. And being the tinkerer I am, Im getting ready to polish it. And send it off to get fully engraved! And maybe stag grips. Or something unique. Well I look forward to hanging out here.

Hi Buffalo - It's too late to call NAA tonight, but I sent them an email requesting info about the metal on case hardened models. Will post here if I can find out anything.

Thanks! I realy think they are stainless. If they are carbon steel then they would probably offer a plain blued model.

A new mag with 1 1/8" barrel!

Yeah, I noticed that too.  It seems that a certain poster on this forum who liked to jump all over newbies is no longer posting here.  No telling how many people were driven away from this forum because of that one poster.

I must have missed something as I have not noticed anyone 'jumping all over newbies'.
Strange comment to make seeing as how, if true, such past occurrences are totally irrelevant to this current thread.

I think most of these newbies should maybe go somewhere else if they want to be so opinionated , really not needed to participate if that's all you folks have to talk about .  In other words children should be seen and not heard . :-X :-X :-X

OV,
Ouch!
Glad you were never a "newbie" nor opinionated.

Dang, this is a tough crowd!

WELCOME, Buffalo. May you become as sick about NAA Minis as the rest of us. It's fun, though, so just relax and enjoy it.
