Wow, I found some of the new super hot CCI 40gr Gold Dot short barrel 22WMR online.  $18.99/50.  High, I know, and the shipping was $10, but I decided WTH, and added it to my cart, opened an account, fed in my CC# and made it to the final verify your order page.  Something on that page made me back-out at the last minute.  Can't say for sure what it was, but I just couldn't "pull the trigger".  Oh well, my LGS will get it someday.

Is this vendor in one of the states that suck that impose fees or taxes on sales of such items like this? Why else would they do something like that??? That's just crazy. (Does it have to do with shipping these items?)

Thanks Sleddogn: Done deal!  Still high with the shipping, about half what "those other guys" were asking.  I've been wanting to try these and the new Hornady short barrel 22 WMR critical defense.  I'll probably overpay for those also!

NAA collector:  They (the first guys) were charging TX sales tax.  Therefore, they're in Texas.  I'm in Texas.  You can ship firearms without an FFL intrastate. Simple "we will, because we can" rip.

   Sleddogn - hope you were happy with the order! You should have got 5 boxes - no extra shipping cost - just a flat rate $10.99 no matter what you order!

Cal's sporting armory has the CCI short barrel in stock for $12.88 per 50, and reasonable shipping fees.  I have 4 boxes arriving tomorrow.
